Schuh, Helen A.Helen A. Schuh, age 91, resident of St. Paul Home, Kaukauna, died on Mar ch 18, 2006. Daughter of the late John and Minnie (Josephs) Brooks, Hel en was born June 5, 1914, near Hollandtown in the Town of Woodville, Calum et County, where she lived until her marriage to Servanus L. Schuh on Janu ary 16, 1934. Helen and Servanus farmed 100 acres just north of Hilbert wh ere they started their family and worked many long and hard days. They lat er moved to Hilbert raising their family in a modest home with seven acr es of lawn and garden at the edge of town. After 63 years of marriage, Ser vanus passed away on September 19, 1997. Helen then moved into the Renaiss ance assisted living in Appleton and later to St. Paul Villa in Kaukauna w here she made many new friends.She is survived by her children: Earl (Janet) Schuh of Lake Panasoffkee, F la., and Allen (Linda) Schuh of Waukesha, Wis.; granddaughter Brenda (Scot t) Martin with great-granddaughters Micaela and Malia of Appleton; and a b rother Frank Brooks of Kaukauna.Helen was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter Mary Jane, age 1 6; grandson Tim Schuh, age 27; brothers: Lawrence and Leo Brooks; and sist er Harriet Lauer.Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at S t. Francis N. Brooks "Frank," Kaukauna, 89, died Tuesday July 11, 2006, at Ch erry Meadows. Frank was born on June 5, 1917, in Town of Woodville, s on of Adrian and Wilhelmina (Josephs) Brooks. He married Alice Thomps on on March 3, 1945. They were married for 21 years when she preceded h im in death on February 26, 1966. He married Irene (Lamers) Elrick on Ju ne 10, 1972, and they shared 25 years together until her death on Decemb er 2, 1997. Frank was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukauna, a nd also a member of The American Legion Post 258 in Little Chute. Frank w as drafted into the Army Air Corps in 1942 and served in the Aleutian Paci fic Islands conflict in Alaska until his honorable discharge in 1946. He t hen worked in Civil Service from 1946-1951. After that, he moved back to K aukauna with his wife and family and started a long career at Thilmany, wh ere he worked as an electronics technician for 28 years, retiring Octob er 29, 1979. Frank went to St. Francis School in Hollandtown but never fin ished 7th grade. He was a cheesemaker at White Clover Dairy and made Ameri can and Gjetost (goat cheese). He managed a 220-acre farm that today is st ill in the Brooks family. Frank was always learning everything he could, h is thirst for knowledge was great. He took many courses throughout his lif e. At Valparaiso University he took classes in electronics and at Berkele y, CA, courses in radio and circuitry. Other trades that he enjoyed as hob bies include blacksmith, electrical electronics, woodworking, instrumentat ion, stained glass (leaded & foil), industrial maintenance, TV repairs, la pidary, bee keeping, hunting, camping and fishing. He was the 1st one in h is family to drive the new '27 Model T at age 10. He also rode a bicycle a nd motorcycle forward and backwards. While serving in Alaska, Frank enjoy ed the wilderness of the "Last Frontier." He skied Mt. McKinley, fished f or salmon, hunted moose, Dall sheep and other game.
He is survived by two daughters and five sons: Susan (Paul) Datta, Greenvi lle; Ronald (Sally Hess) Brooks, Thomas (Debbie) Brooks of Kaukauna; Dav id (Sally) Brooks, Nancy (Scott) Kraft, Patrick (Cathy) Brooks of Menash a; Kenneth (MaryJo) Brooks, Milwaukee, 12 grandchildren, seven step grandc hildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 15 step great-grandchildren. Dorothy was born in Hollandtown on May 10, 19 16 daughter of the late William and Antoinette (Josephs) Fink. On Decemb er 28, 1932 Dorothy married Robert Nushart in Hollandtown; he preceded h er in death on August 17, 1979. For many years, Dorothy worked as the he ad cook at the Kaukauna Elks Lodge, and later supervised the delicatess en at Larry's Market. Many will remember her as an excellent cook and supe rb homemaker. Agnes A. "Ag" Liebergen, age 95, of Wrightstown, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016. The daughter of the late William and Antoinette Fink was born April 12, 1921. After attending St. Francis School in Woodville, she married Nestor Liebergen in 1940 in Hollandtown. She was a teller at the Forest Junction Bank for many years before retiring. Agnes enjoyed playing cards, reading, crossword puzzles, fishing and gambling. She was a member of St. Clare Parish-St. Patrick Site.
Survivors include her children: Roger (Kay) Liebergen, Ronald (Lois) Liebergen, Romae Van Handel, Roy (Carol) Liebergen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren; half-sister: Ruth (Walter) Ver Haagh; a special friend Barney Driessen and his family; as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husband Nestor in 1992; son Richard Liebergen; son-in-law Alois; siblings: Earl Fink, Sylvester Fink, Elmer Fink, Dorothy Nushart, Florance Jirkowic and Mabel McKinley; half-brother: Robert Fink.
Family and friends may visit at St. Katharine Drexel Parish-St. Francis Site, 433 Cty Road CE, Hollandtown (Kaukauna), on Tuesday, November 29, from 9:00am until 10:45am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Tuesday with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Askeaton. Hugh H. Heimerl, 84, De Pere, formerly of Greenleaf, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning October 8, 2017. He was born April 14, 1933 to the late Antone and Erma (Hockers) Heimerl. On June 27, 1959 he married Bonnie Mommaerts at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay. Hugh was a lifelong farmer who loved the outdoors, whether fishing, or hunting. Hugh enjoyed bowling and a good game of cards. He was also a past volunteer Greenleaf firefighter, lifelong member of St. Clare, Greenleaf Catholic Church and choir member. It was time he spent with his wife, children and grandchildren that meant the most to him.
He is survived by his children, Tina (Tom) Ackerman, Tim (Karen) Heimerl, Beth (Mike) Van Rossum, Lisa (Jim) Guns, daughter-in-law Laura Heimerl, as well as his grandchildren, Sarah (Mike), Ali (special friend Robert), Michelle (special friend Kyler), Courtney (Michael), Drew, Junior, Tyler (Alysha), Nick, Taylor, Evan, and Logan. Hugh's great grandchildren, Logan, Brianna, Levi, Simon, Andrew, Lincoln, and Margaret. His sisters, Ann Ley, and Jane Pennings, as well as brother-in-law Gary (Mary) Mommaerts, and sisters-in-law, Betty Heimerl, Phyllis (special friend Don) Heimerl, Donna (Jerry) Heimerl, and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren survive him.
Hugh was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie, his son Bob, siblings Harvey Heimerl, Earl (Dorothy) Heimerl, Eugene Heimerl, brothers-in-law Marv Pennings, and Donnie Ley. His nephews, Tommy Mommaerts, Scott Heimerl, Mike Heimerl, and niece, Debbie Van Beaver also preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home 305 N. Tenth Street De Pere after 3:30PM (TODAY) Tuesday October 10, 2017. A parish prayer service will take place at 7:30PM to bring the evening to a close. Joan A. Haen, (nee Baeten), Oshkosh formerly of Fond du Lac and Kaukauna, age 84, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Park View Health Center, Oshkosh with her loving family by her side. She was born October 12, 1929, daughter of the late Christian and Viola (Hockers) Baeten. On May 1, 1951 Joan married Kenneth Haen in West DePere and the couple enjoyed 59 years of marriage together prior to his death on December 13, 2010. Joan enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, and fishing. She assisted Ken at the Star Orchard, which he owned with his two brothers. Joan enjoyed volunteering in the various communities they lived in.

She is further survived by her husband's family, 1 brother-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law: Sr. Ann Joachim Haen, Manitowoc, Ivo (Carol) Haen, Kaukauna and Bernice Haen, Hollandtown; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ken in 2010, a son Richard in 1973, 2 brothers: Ralph Baeten and Fr. David Baeten; and a sister, Virginia Brown. She was further preceded in death by her husband's family: mother and father-in-law, Henry and Gertrude (Bruecker) Haen, Ray Haen, Jerome (Mertie) Haen, Eugene Haen, Sr. St. Barbara Haen, and Marcella (Earl) Fink.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Joan will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at ST. RAPHAEL the ARCHANGEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 830 S. Westhaven Ave., Oshkosh with Fr. Michael Warden officiating. Friends may call on Monday, April 21, 2014 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service concluding the evening. Friends may call again on Tuesday directly at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Oshkosh. Father David R. Baeten, 74, Bellevue, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, Nov. 27, 2010, at his home. The son of the late Christian G. and Viola M. (Hockers) Baeten was born March 11, 1936, in Green Bay. He graduated from St. Norbert High School in De Pere, St. Francis Minor and Major Seminary in Milwaukee. His uncle, Father Dominic Hockers, O. Praem., was a powerful influence in his life and Dave was ordained to the Priesthood on June 9, 1962, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Green Bay, by Bishop Stanislaus V. Bona.

Donald E. Gloudemans, Kaukauna, formerly of Kimberly, age 79, died Monday, March 13, 2017 at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born in Little Chute on September 22, 1937 to the late John and Margaret (Josephs) Gloudemans. Donald married Janice C. Van Zeeland on August 4, 1959 at Holy Name Parish. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2007 after 48 years of marriage. Don worked at Thilmany Pulp and Paper for 42 years. He was a great father and loved spending time with his wife Jan, traveling and going up North fishing. He cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren and he also enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers!
Donald is survived by his children: Gary (JoAnne) of Green Bay; Terri (Dan) Ruys of Appleton; and Steve (Keisha) of Kimberly; grandchildren: Michael and Carly Jo Gloudemans, Travis, Josh and Jennifer Ruys, Samuel and Clarke Gloudemans; siblings: Joyce (Tom) Vander Pas and Jack Gloudemans; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Sharon (Dave) Geurden, Jerry (Janice) Van Zeeland and Imelda (George) Zelinski. Ronald Gloudemans, 74, Neenah, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Vallhaven Care Center, after a challenging battle with Parkinson's Disease and Lewy Body Dementia.
He was born September 22, 1937, in Little Chute, son of John and Margaret (Joseph) Gloudemans. Ronald married Helen G. Johnson July 6, 1972 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Ronald was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Ron participated in RENEW Group for many years with Helen. He was employed at Neenah Foundry as a computer analyst. He was a talented athlete in tennis, football, basketball and softball. Ronald was a loving husband, father and grandfather who cherished his grandson.

Joseph W. Quella, Kaukauna, age 65 passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016, surrounded by his family, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 10, 1951 in Appleton, son of Richard and Elaine (Josephs) Quella. Growing up in Darboy, Joe was a 1969 Kimberly High School graduate. He also graduated in 1973 from UW Oshkosh and worked as a salesman for 40 years. Joe was a huge Packer fan, and loved golfing and was a member of Ledgeview, Mid Vallee and Fox Valley Golf Courses. Joe loved to drive around in his 1989 Grand Trans Am. He was very social and had a good sense of humor. Joe looked forward to and loved the many Quella "Family Gatherings". He was very proud of his children.
He is survived by his children: Stephanie Quella, Michael (Heidi Peronto) Quella, Stacy (Shane) Mohr, and Shari (Fiancé Kyle Mangin) Quella; his mother, Elaine; sisters and brother: Kathy (Bob) Dolezal, Chris Eisch, Becky (Denis VanZeeland) VanHeuklon, Richard (Erin) Quella, Nancy (Dan) Christenson, and Gail (Jim Blumreich) Wians; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Kaukauna high School in 1952. Joyce married Ralph 'Sparky' Sanders in December of 1973 and he preceded her in death in 2004. Joyce worked for KC as a secretary for many years until her retirement. She and Ralph were members of St. John Catholic Church in Menasha. Joyce enjoyed spending time at the VFW and was an avid Packer fan.
Survivors include her sister, Joan (Gerald) Sell, White Lake, WI and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by Ralph's three sons and their families.

Carol Vander Velden, Green Bay, age 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, September 23, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born in Kaukauna on January 12, 1936, daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Fink) Nushart. On June 2, 1955, she married Joseph Van Eyck. Later, on October 6, 1972, Carol married Greg Vander Velden. Greg preceded her in death in 2004. In her younger years, Carol worked at Badger Northland in Kaukauna, a job she really loved. Later she worked as a switchboard operator and receptionist at St. Mary and St. Vincent Hospitals in Green Bay. Carol enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and hunting with Greg, but most of all she will be remembered as an avid Badger and Packer fan.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Greg Vander Velden, her former husband Joe Van Eyck, a brother Ken Nushart, and a nephew Kip Nushart.
The funeral liturgy for Carol will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH (St. Mary's Church) 119 W. 7th Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

Lee Fink, 65, died May 18, 2011, at his home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church followed by burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Mr. Fink was a retired respiratory therapist with Rankin Medical Center, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He loved spending time with his family and friends, deer hunting, home improvements and restoring antique cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester J. and Rita C. Fink.

Cindy was born August 21, 1955 in Appleton to La wrence "Larry" and the late Carol (Gloudemans) Seidl Sr. She graduated fr om Appleton East High School class of 1973. On June 6, 2002, Cindy was uni ted in marriage to Gerald M. Mattingly in Bowling Green, Ky. She loved goi ng to rummage sales, traveling, flowers and plants, mini collectibles su ch as snow globes and angels, her two cats "Lotus" and "Spit," and especia lly loved spending time with her three sons and four grandchildren. Cin dy always looked forward to holidays and never forgot a friend or relativ es birthday. She was a member at Good Sheperd Lutheran Church, Appleton.She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Gerry, Menasha. Tod J. Vander Pas, of Weyauwega, formerly of Little Chute, age 54, passed away unexpectedly after a lengthy illness Sunday June 30, 2013 at his home. He was born in LaCrosse on November 20, 1958 to Thomas and Joyce (Gloudemans) Vander Pas. After graduating from Little Chute High School in 1977, Tod went to Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI, where he graduated from the College of Pharmacy. Tod found his true calling as a pharmacist and greatly relished his opportunity to serve people in his jobs at Jernegan's Health Mart in New London, the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King, and many other pharmacies throughout the Fox Valley and Waupaca areas. In his free time, Tod loved to travel and spend time with his friends. He also enjoyed playing cards and board games, reading, bowling, golf, curling and watching movies.
Tod is survived by his parents, Thomas and Joyce Vander Pas, Little Chute; siblings: Tim (Diana) of Lake Zurich, IL; Troy (Brenda) of Fond du Lac; and Tammy (Mike) Maley of Little Chute; and nieces and nephews: Kirk, Cole, Erin, Abby, Macy, Christa, Carly and Ty Vander Pas, Daniel, Rachel and Matthew Maley. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tod was preceded in death by his grandparents: Nick and Rose (Hoolihan) Vander Pas and John and Margaret (Josephs) Gloudemans; his uncles Jim and Pat Vander Pas, Ron and Ken Gloudemans; his aunts Janice Gloudemans and Carole Seidl; also preceded by Jon Gloudemans; and his cousin Cindy Seidl.
