    John Van Domelen, 95, Little Chute, died Sunday, March 4, 2007, with his family by his side. He was born March 24, 1911, in Boyd, son of Henry and Anna (Hermsen) Van Domelen. John married Matilda Fischer, June 17, 1939, at St. Edwards Catholic Church, Mackville and she preceded him in death January 15, 2003. He was employed at Appleton Coated Paper until his retirement and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. He was a baseball fan and enjoyed the Brewers and the Cubs and was an avid Packer fan. He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church for many years. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren.
    John is survived by his children: Valeria (Vincent) Vande Hey, Krakow; Rosalyn Jacob, Little Chute; Mary (Van) Robinson, Signal Hill, CA; Christine (Daniel) Vander Zanden; a son-in-law, Doug Anderson, Kaukauna; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Martin (Bernice) Van Domelen, Appleton; a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law; also sisters-in-law: Valeria Gloudemans and Georgina (Ray) Baum; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
    Mr. Van Domelen was also preceded in death by his parents and nine brothers and sisters.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church with Rev. James Hablewitz officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
