    Lois M. Jackson, age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2014. Born in Appleton to the late Kenneth and Dorothea (Nehls) Welson on November 14, 1925. In 1946, she married Earl W. Jackson. During WWII, she worked for Wisconsin Bell Inc. as a phone operator, but her true calling was as a caretaker to her family. She was a loving mother, and raised four boys while also caring for the home. She also enjoyed gardening, watching the Packers and shopping for clothes and watches. She spent 30 years as a resident at Oneida Heights and enjoyed volunteering and socializing.
    She is survived by her children: William (Joan), Joseph (Leslie), Gerald (Kathy) and Daniel (Lisa); grandchildren: Brian, Kimberly, Christopher (Lea Ann), Ian (Kristen), Colin, Kelly (Lizz), Nicole, Scott (Aliza Loren), Earl and Cory; great-grandchildren: Dane, Georgia, Reece and Evelyn; her former husband, Earl W. Jackson; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
    She was preceded in death by her siblings: Evelyn, Aileen, Katie and Don and an infant daughter, Mary.
    The funeral liturgy for Lois will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at SACRED HEART CATHOLIC CHURCH (222 E. Fremont St., Appleton). Visitation will be held at church from 9:30 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.
    The family would like to extend a thank you to the nurses and staff at both Affinity Hospice and Rennes Health and Rehab for the care provided to Lois. Also, a thank you to the staff and residents at Oneida Heights for the friendship and love they gave to Lois.

    William "Bill" C. Jackson, age 65, of Delavan passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at his home in Delavan surrounded by his family. He was born in Appleton on August 22, 1951 to Earl and Lois (Welson) Jackson. Bill was united in marriage to Joan Ashauer on July 17, 1982 in Appleton. He most recently worked at Vision Plastics in Delavan. Before retirement, he was a member of the American Chemical Society and American Quality Society. Bill enjoyed astronomy, WWII history, war games, and spending time with his family.
    Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joan; two children, Brian (Mandy Schlumpf) Jackson, of Mundelein, IL, and Kimberly (Dan Kelley) Jackson, of West Allis; his father, Earl; three brothers, Joe (Leslie) Jackson, of Appleton, Jerry (Kathy) Jackson, of Appleton, and Dan (Lisa) Jackson, of Appleton; and many nephews and a niece.
    Bill is preceded in death by his mother.
    Funeral Services will be held at NOON on Friday, March 31, 2017 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Avenue in Delavan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan and from 11:00 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. on Friday at the FUNERAL HOME. Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Appleton at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 7, 2017. MONROE FUNERAL HOME in Delavan is assisting the family. Please visit us at delavanfuneralhome.com
