    Air Officer is Killed in Action, Lieutenant Klister, 26 of Wrightstown Served in England.
    Kaukauna- Lieutenant Urban H. Klister; 28, son of B. H. Klister , was killed in ACTION IN THE European theater October 14, according to a telegram received Friday by his father. He had been serving with the air force. The Lieutenant was previously reported missing in action. He entered service in May of 1941 and was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, transferring to the air corps in August of 42. He took his pre flight training at Ellington Field, Texas, graduating as a bombardier from San Angelo air field, Texas in April of 1943.
    He had been overseas since last August and was stationed with the 8th Air force in England.
    A graduate of Wrightstown High School he has worked at the Fox River Valley Dairy Company at Wrightstown before entering service.
    Survivors are the father; four brothers; Herman, Kaukauna; Eugene, Philadelphia; Emmett, Manitowoc; Private First Class Sylvester, California; 1 sister; Mrs. Albert Van Enkevort, Milwaukee.
    A funeral mass will be held at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Paul Catholic Churchin Wrightstown
    APC--- Monday evening January 17, 1944 P-12

    Obituary:
    Second Lt. Urban Henry Klister, 26, of Wrightstown, who was previously reported missing in action, has now been reported killed in action in the European war area. Lt. Klister entered military service May 16, 1941. He is the first resident of Wrightstown to be killed in the war.
