    Appleton - Virginia M. "Jean" Haese, age 88, currently of Appleton, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born in the Town of Vandenbroeck on May 24, 1929 to the late Chris and Clara (Evers) Joosten. On May 15, 1948 she married Donald Haese. Jean enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren, and when they lived on the farm in Greenleaf, she worked the farm alongside her family. She loved taking pictures of family and friends, and just spending time with her family.
    She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Don, her daughter, Delores (Jerry) Lange, daughter in law, Gertie Haese, grandchildren; Chris (Tanya) Lange, Terry Lange, Nick (fiance Niki Manders) Haese and Jennie (Jason) Wisnefske. She is further survived by five great grandchildren; Brady Lange, Trevor and Spencer Lange, Karlee and Finnlee Wisnefske.
    Preceding her in death are her parents, her son, Greg Haese, as well as five brothers and three sisters.
    Family and friends may call at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 437 Turner St., Wrightstown, on Friday, February 23, from 11:00am until 12:45pm. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Mike Gehl officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery. Cotter Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.cotterfuneralhome.com.

    Robert F. "B.J." Joosten, Little Chute, age 61, died unexpectedly Saturday November 9, 2013. He was born in Kaukauna on March 2, 1952 to Jerome "Shorty" and Alice (Nichols) Joosten. B.J. was a 28 year employee of the Paper Valley Hotel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his bike and playing pool with his brothers, family and friends.
    Robert is survived by his mother, Alice, Little Chute; siblings: Tom (Sue), Appleton; Jerry Jr. (Patti Prahl), Menasha; Carol (Mario) Garcia, Kaukauna; Bill (Ann) Joosten, Kaukauna; Cyril, Little Chute; Patty (Dave) Seefeldt, Little Chute; his Godmother Rita Becker; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Robert was preceded in death by his father Jerome; sister Catherine (Steve Erdmann) Josephs; and Godfather Francis Becker.
    Visitation will be held Thursday November 14, 2013 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of prayer service at 6:00 p.m. The Rev.     Jerome J. "Jerry" Joosten, Neenah, age 62, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 after a lingering illness. He was born in Little Chute on September 24, 1954 to Jerome "Shorty" and Alice (Nichols) Joosten. After high school, Jerry served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Panama. He married Regina Whitcomb on May 13, 1977. She preceded him in death in 2000 after 23 years of marriage. Jerry worked at Gibson's Iron Metal and Auto Salvage for 10 years and Miller Masonry for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting pool. Jerry loved watching college football, especially the Badgers.
    Jerry is survived by his mother, Alice Joosten, Little Chute; siblings: Tom (Sue), Appleton; Carol (Mario) Garcia, Kaukauna; Bill (Ann), Kaukauna; Cyril, Little Chute; and Patty (Dave) Seefeldt, Little Chute; special friend, Patti Prahl; and Patti's children and grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his wife, Gina, Jerry is further preceded in death by his father, Jerome; brother, Bob; and sister, Cathy.
    Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 6:00 p.m. The Rev.     Greg Haese, 58, of Wrightstown, passed away Easter Sunday, April 8, 2012 due to complications of brain cancer. He was born June 29, 1953 to Donald and Virginia (Joosten) Haese in Green Bay, WI. On October 27, 1973, he married Gertie Van De Walle at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wrightstown. Greg was a graduate of Wrightstown High School. Greg most recently worked at Coating Excellence International as Maintenance Coordinator. Prior to that he worked for OJ Boldt Construction for many years as a Millwright and was a member of Millwright Local 1056. Greg was an avid hunter and musky fisherman, and had a passion for the outdoors. He loved spending time with his family at their cottage on Pelican Lake. Greg was a member of the De Pere Sportsman's Club. Greg is survived by his wife, Gertie; one son, Nick Haese of De Pere and one daughter, Jennie and her fiancé, Jason Wisnefske of Clintonville. There is a very special place in his heart for his 'grand pup', Mac. He is also survived by his honorary brothers, Mike, Dave, and Gary Janssen. Other survivors include his mother and father, Donald and Virginia (Joosten) Haese of Greenleaf; one sister, Delores (Gerald) Lange of Freedom; his mother-in-law, Ileen Van De Walle of Crivitz; brother-in-laws, Merlin (Christine) Van De Walle, Leland (Ann) Van De Walle of Crivitz, and Dan (Sue) Van De Walle of Peshtigo; sister-in-laws Mary (Tom) Steppert of Freedom, Jennie (Kevin) Pillath of Peshtigo, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends and family are encouraged to gather on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere, WI from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
