    Obituary:
    Age 73 passed away on Father's Day June 18 at Kindred Hospital in Milwaukee, due to complications from heart surgery, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 10, 1932 in Appleton to the late Gus and Magdalene (Dahlke) Schroeder. Roy was a lifetime member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was baptized, confirmed and attended grade school. He graduated from Appleton High School. Roy married Jeanett Klitzke on April 7, 1956. They just celebrated 50 years together. Roy served his country in Germany from 1953-1954. After the service he worked construction with his father until his father retired. Roy then worked for Wm. Tiede and Sons Construction and finally retired 11 years ago from Appleton Lathing. Roy also enjoyed spending time at his cottage on Lake Poygan.
    Roy is survived by his wife Jeanett; his children: Cheryl (Todd) Wilson; Keith Schroeder; Bonnie (Bruce) Carew; Kathy (Dennis) Remmel; grandchildren: Nicole, Kristin and Tim Wilson; Jessica, Melissa, twins Justin and Jaclyn Carew; Kayla and Travis Beyer; Hayley Remmel and Jeremy and Ashley Heenan. He is further survived by sons-in-law Larry Beyer and Joel Heenan, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.
    He is preceded in death by his daughters: Carla Beyer, 2004 and Trudy Heenan, 2000; his parents; sisters Alice Neubert, Isabelle Meyer and Mildred Kluge.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday June 22, 2006 at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church 129 S. Mason Street, Appleton with Pastors Paul Schuler and Jeffrey Verbeke officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm Wednesday June 21, 2006 at Valley Funeral Home and again on Thursday June 22, 2006 from 10:00am until time of service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
    In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund is being established.

    b>Rehmer, Wayne M.Wayne Rehmer, 80, Neenah, died Sunday, March 4, 2007, at his home. He was born February 20, 1927, in the Town of Center, son of Alvin and Amanda (Schroeder) Rehmer. Wayne married Bette Guyette, August 16, 1947, in Hortonville and she also passed away on March 4th. He was employed at Fox Tractor, Appleton, for many years prior to his retirement in 1986. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Neenah. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, horseshoes, dancing, woodworking and playing cards including sheephead. He and Bette also enjoyed their "Friday night fish." He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II. Wayne is survived many nieces and nephews as well as great- and great-great-nieces and nephews and children of the neighborhood. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Marcella (Elmer) Kahler and Bernice (Chum) Sawall. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007, at the Kessler Funeral Home with Rev. David Frost officiating. Entombment will be in the Shrine of Heaven Mausoleum, Neenah. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Grace Lutheran Church and the American Heart Association.

    Obituary:
    Harvey August Alvin Schroeder, 81, of Seymour, Harvey was called home by his Loving Savior. He passed away at home with his loving wife and his family by his side on Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2011. He was born June 5, 1930 in Center Valley, son of the late Arthur and Ester (Rholoff) Schroeder.
    Harvey was raised on a farm in Seymour. Harvey joined the Air Force in 1952 and fought in the Korean War. After the war he joined the Reserves. He married Elizabeth (Betty) Vande Burgt on April 27, 1957 and raised a family. He worked most of his life doing construction work and building bridges. He worked for Lunda Construction up until he retired in 1991. They ran a tavern in Dale called Betty and Harv's. Harvey was also a life-long member of VFW. He was The Commander for Seymour VFW Post 7692 for 13 years. He was also a life-long member of the American Legion Post 106 and was a member of the Black Creek Lions Club. After retirement he loved to work in his garden and worked around the garage. He also enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Harvey shared his stories and jokes with many friends and family members. Harvey also volunteered for The Salvation Army, Outagamie County Service Extension where he helped keep up the maintenance of the building and also went to pick up food and other items.
    Harvey is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty) of 54 years. He is further survived by his children and their families, Paul (Georgia), Colorado; their children and grandchildren: Dan (Tonja) Himscott, Ryan, Amber, Darby, Emul and Jared Himscott, Scott (Faith) Himscoot, Ester and Titus Himscoot, Lela (Eric) McMallan, Emily and Lily Mc Mallan; Jeff (Mary Beth), Seymour; their children and grandchildren: Travis (Staci) Schroeder; Marissa and Allie Schroeder, Samantha Schroeder, Martin Schroeder (friend Cassandra), Hunter Schroeder; Cindy (Daniel) Meulemans, Seymour; their children and grandchildren: Lee (Jessica) Meulemans, Dylan, Austin, and Kevin Meulemans, Brandy Schmidt (fiancé Grant), Devin and Autumn Schmidt, Paige and Brady Krull, Shane Meulemans (Friend Laura), Brooke Meulemans and Whitney Hannon, Jennifer Meulemans, Jalyn and Jameson Meulemans; Nancy (Dennis) Vande Walle, Seymour: and their children and grandchildren: John Vande Walle, Jody Vande Walle (significant other Tyler), Edward Vande Walle and Jake Vande Walle; Tim (Therese) Schroeder and their children: Alison Schroeder (friend Andrew), David Schroeder (friend Mary), Melanie Schroeder (fiancé Brandon).     He was preceded in death by his parents and his in-laws, Martin and Hendricka Vand Burgt; sister, Ione Schroeder, sisters-in-law, Margaret Vande Burgt, Regina Lousisn, Patricia Vande Burgt; a brother-in-law, Jerry Miller.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 4-8 PM and on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour from 12:00 PM until services at 1:00 PM with Pastor Roland Lindeman and Nick Mattson officiating.
