    Obituary:
Jim was born on August 29, 1948 to the late Martin and Frances (Verheyen) Wynboom in the family home where his father was a lock tender for the Cedars Lock in the town of Vandenbroek. He was the youngest of five boys, and spent many wonderful years along the banks of the Fox River helping his dad guide boats through the locks, hunting, and fishing. After his father's retirement, they moved to Little Chute where he took a job as a custodian for the school district. He also worked for the Village of Little Chute where he could be seen proudly standing on the back of the garbage truck. He loved to work, and showed great pride in everything he did no matter how big or small the job may have seemed. Jim was an avid Packers fan, and would rarely - if ever - miss a game. He also enjoyed countless camping trips and road trips in the RV to Nashville to visit extended family with Doug and Kelly.
Jim is survived by his brothers: Simon (Rose Ann) Wynboom and Marty (Diane) Wynboom; sister-in-law, Sherry Wynboom; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Kenneth (Carol) Wynboom and Richard Wynboom; and niece Emberly (Wynboom) Verhagen.
Jim's funeral will be held later this spring. The details will be announced once they are complete. To sign the guest book, please visitoconnellfh.com.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Jim's caregivers at St. Paul Home, especially Scott, and St. Paul Hospice Services. Their heartfelt care and compassion made Jim feel comfortable and content even when he wasn't at his best. Also a heartfelt thank you to Doug Wynboom and Kelly Hussin for opening their home to Jim for the past 17 years so he always had family, love, and the best care from the people who loved him the most.
Jim, although we will miss you dearly, we know you are having a great time in heaven with grandma, grandpa, Ken, Dick and Emberly. We will look for you in the promise of the early morning sunrise, the calm of the evening sunset and the star that shoots across the nighttime sky. You were one in a million.
