    Haessly, Loraine M., Kaukauna, 91, died peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Loraine was born in Kaukauna on March 7, 1914, daughter of the late Wenzel and Ida (Wolf) Haessly. She was a graduate of the Kaukauna High School, and for 35 years worked as the bookkeeper at Hietpas Motors. Loraine retired in 1976.
    She is survived by a sister-in-law: Evelyn Haessly of Kaukauna, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mildred (Walter) Rodowski, and brothers Herbert (Marie) Haessly, Leo (Grace) Haessly, Rev. Edward Haesy, Ervin (Della) Haessly, and Bernard Haessly.
    The funeral liturgy for Loraine will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 12, 2005, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from noon until the time of the service.

    Obituary:
    Carol Haessly, 80, formerly of Kaukauna, died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Franciscan Care Center after a long illness. She was born March 5, 1927, to the late Herbert and Marie (Rieth) Haessly in Kaukauna, Wis. Carol worked as an RN at the Medical Arts Clinic in Appleton, and later for Affinity Health System until her retirement in 1992. She was an active and longtime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Kaukauna Community Health Associates. Carol enjoyed golfing, bowling and the adventures of traveling throughout the world as well as a good game of cards. Many close friends and family will miss her.
    She is survived by her brother, Paul Haessly; her sister, Joan Alibrando; two nephews, Patrick (special friend, Cheryl Roberts) Alibrando and Thomas (Julie) Alibrando.
    She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Joseph Alibrando.
    Carol's Mass of Christian Burial will be at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Marty Fox officiating. Friends will be received on Tuesday at the church from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Carol's name or directed to a charity of your choice. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. 920-766-2099.
    The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Franciscan Care Center, especially Unit 3 for all the love, care and compassion they gave Carol over the years.

    Joan Alibrando, 87, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 after a short stay at St. Paul Home. Joan was born on April 27, 1929 to Herbert and Marie (Rieth) Haessly. She was united in marriage to Joseph Alibrando on January 19, 1952. Joan enjoyed knitting and made many intricate baby booties and doll clothes. She was an active blood donor and donated many gallons over the years. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her close friends. Their coffee time, birthday celebrations and many outings will always hold special memories.
    Joan is survived by her son Thomas (Julie) Alibrando, other relatives and friends.
    Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe, a son Pat, a sister Carol and a brother Paul.
    The funeral liturgy for Joan will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 3:00 PM at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 PM until the time of the mass at church. Online condolences may be expressed atwww.wichmannfargo.com.
    The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the caregiving staff at Appleton Retirement Community, St. Paul Home and her close friends for all the support over the years. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

    Eugene "Turk" Haessly, age 86, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. He was born to the late Leo and Grace (Willequette) Haessly on April 27, 1930 in Green Bay. On January 16, 1954 Eugene married Verona "Cookie" Lancour at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kaukauna. The couple lived in the area for all of their married lives. Eugene was a United States Army veteran where he served in Germany during the Korean Conflict. Eugene sold insurance along with numerous other jobs including bus driving, which he loved. He was an avid Packer and Cub fan, loved polka music, and cracking hickory nuts. He was a past member of Kaukauna Kiwanis and St. Aloysius Catholic Church, where he was in the choir for years.
    Eugene is survived by his wife of 62 years, Verona of Kaukauna; their children: Susan (John) Jansen of Kaukauna, Steven (Marg) Haessly of Hollandtown, Scott (Lynette) Haessly of De Pere, Richard (Karen) Haessly of Green Bay, Sandra (Jim) Roeser of Green Bay, Jon (special friend Melissa) Kirk, and David (Maureen) Haessly of Kaukauna; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He is further survived by his wife's family: Osa (Ed) Herreid of Kenosha, Maryann Nordstrom of Arizona, Leona Lancour of Kaukauna, Vince Ferrari of Arizona, Thomas (Mary Ann) Lancour of Seymour; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eugene is preceded in death by a sister Rosemary (John) Brenzel; daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Haessly; great grandson Tyler Mayer; brothers-in-law: Gene (Val), Dick, Ron (Kendal) Lancour, and John Nordstrom; sisters-in-law: Rita (Emil) Gosse, Della (Bill) Anholzer, and Alice Ferrari; and a nephew Jeff Brenzel.
    A funeral service for Eugene will be held at 12:00 NOON on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH AT ST. FRANCIS CHURCH, 433 County Rd CE, Kaukauna, WI, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends may call directly at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.     Dennis J. Haessly, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 27, 2010. He was born in Appleton on October 21, 1954 the son of Bernard and Evelyn (Hornung) Haessly. On September 5, 1980 he married Mary "Pepe" Van Deurzen at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. Dennis worked for various auto dealerships, most recently at Gustman's Chevrolet. He loved electronics and riding his Harley. Dennis will be remembered for being helpful to others, especially with their computers and cars. He will be dearly missed by his special buddy, Buster.
    Dennis is survived by his wife, Mary; children: Christopher Haessly of Kaukauna, Michael (Jessica) Haessly of Appleton, Sean (Bridgette) Haessly and their son, Aydan "Buster," all of Kaukauna, Laura Haessly of Appleton, and Sarah Haessly of Appleton; mother, Evelyn Haessly of Little Chute; and brother, David (Deb) Haessly and their son, Joe, all of Kaukauna.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Haessly; and brother, Gary Haessly.
    The funeral liturgy will be at 12 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2011, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
    The family extends a special thank you to the Kaukauna Police and Fire Department and to the staff at Appleton Medical Center for their professional and compassionate care.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Dennis' name is being established.

    Gary Haessly, 53, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010, at home. Gary was born on September 19, 1956, to Bernard and Evelyn Haessly in Kaukauna. He worked at the Americinn as a night clerk. Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman.
    Gary is survived by his mother, Evelyn Haessly, two brothers: Dennis (Mary) Haessly and Dave (Debbie) Haessly, nieces and nephews: Joe, Chris, Mike (Jessica), Sean (Bridgette), Laura and Sarah Haessly, a great-nephew, Aydan, other relatives and friends.
    Gary was preceded in death by his father Bernard.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 21, 2010, at 11 a.m. at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH (309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna) with Fr. Jim Vanden Hogen officiating.     Patrick Alibrando, 59, of Darboy, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013. Pat was born on March 9, 1954 to Joseph and Joan (Haessly) Alibrando in Appleton. Pat graduated from UW Stout and started his career as an industrial arts teacher, the working at Giddings and Lewis and finally working at Metal Products. He was a very hard working and dedicated person. In his earlier years he enjoyed camping, kayaking, the outdoors and woodworking.
    Pat is survived by his mother: Joan Alibrando of Kaukauna; and a brother: Thomas (Julie) Alibrando of Reedsburg. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph.
    The funeral service will be held for Pat on Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
