    Age 88, of Cty. Hwy. S, Black Creek, Township of Center, Outagamie County, formerly of Clintonville, passed away, Monday, November 3, 2003 at his son's residence that he shares with his partner, Lisa in the Township of Center.
    Bill was born on December 24, 1914 in the Township of Bear Creek, Waupaca County; the son of the late Otto and Ida (Roloff) Boettcher. He was united in marriage to Margaret Prellwitz on November 26, 1936 in Bear Creek. The couple had farmed the Boettcher family farm in the Township of Bear Creek until Bill reached the age of 52. In 1965 they moved to Clintonville where they lived the rest of their married life. Bill was later employed at Keller's Appliance, Clintonville for 11 years. Margaret preceded her husband in death on July 27, 2000. Bill was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Township of Bear Creek where he had assisted in the Church's construction and served as elder. Some of his hobbies included dart ball, playing cards, dancing, snowmobiling, deer hunting with family and friends, making maple syrup, traveling and maintaining things. He enjoyed new cars, served as volunteer for the LCFS Thrift Store, Shawano and was a supporter of 4-H programs.
    Survivors include his daughter, Bonnie (Bob) Coonen, Kaukauna; his son, Curtis (his partner Lisa Skaleski) Boettcher, Black Creek; five grandchildren: Jeff (Lorie) Affeldt, Madison; James (Mary Anne) Affeldt, Neenah; Joelle (Tom) Gehring, Mt. Pleasant, MI; Amy Anderson, Appleton; Mark (Sue) Boettcher, Montevideo, MN; a step-grand-daughter, Sarann Skaleski, River Falls, WI; eight great-grandchildren: Curtis, Erich, Bobby, Allysa, Commadore, Reed, Garrett & Forrest.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife (Margaret), three sisters and a brother.
    Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Thursday, November 6, 2003 at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Township of Bear Creek with the Rev. Steven Pockat officiating and interment will be in the Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.
    Friends may call from 5 until 8 P.M. Wednesday at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home, Clintonville and after 1 P.M. Thursday at the church until the time of the service.
    The Boettcher family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the caregivers, Janet and Sandee for their special care and support and also to the Affinity Hospice program.

    Obituary:
    Mark W. Boettcher, 43, of Montevideo, MN, died unexpectedly Monday, March 4, 2011. A memorial service was held in Montevideo on Fri., March 18, for his Minnesota friends and family before returning to his hometown of Appleton, WI. Mark was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and an active member of the Great Lakes Motorcycle Club of South Dakota as well as a member of Team Strange Cycle Club. He was a loving and active Father, as well as a devoted and loving son.
    Mark is survived by his two sons Reed and Garrett and their mother Sue Boettcher (Montevideo, MN), his mother Star Black, his Father Curt Boettcher and partner Lisa, Sister Amy Anderson, her sons and daughter and their families (Appleton, WI). Also surviving are the members of the Witthuhn family, nieces, nephews, special Aunt Bonnie Coonen and family, and many friends and relatives.
    A funeral service is planned for Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Ave., Appleton, WI. Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. with prayer service at 4 p.m.
