    Suprise, Margaret E.
    Margaret E. Suprise, age 83, formerly of Hortonville, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2009, with her loving family by her side at her sons home in McAllen, Texas; following a courageous battle with cancer. Margaret lived in McAllen, Texas, the last four years with her son. She was born on August 22, 1925, daughter of the late Robert and Nelly (Gartlin) Jamison. She graduated from Hortonville High School in 1943. Margaret was united in marriage to Ken Suprise in 1946 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville. He preceded her in death in 2005. She worked at Scholdlock in Appleton for many years. Margaret was a volunteer at St. Joseph Residence in New London.
    She was a very religious person being a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Hortonville, and their Christian Mothers. Margaret was a dedicated mother who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends; especially ham, mashed potatoes and Christmas cookies. She was the type of person who loved to help anyone in need. Mom you will be missed but will remain in our hearts forever. God Bless.
    Margaret is survived by three daughters: Pat Trittin, Kimberly; Sandy (Larry) Griesbach, Mackville; Margene (Larry) Fassbender, Greenville; two sons: Ron (Estela) Suprise and Tim Suprise, both of McAllen Texas; grandchildren: Daisy (Victor) Soliz; Rene Suprise; Mike (Lisa) Fassbender; Michelle Fassbender; Mark Suprise; Bryan Suprise; Kelly Griesbach (Dan); Kevin Griesbach; Shelly Zacharias; Pam Trittin; Tina (Jacob) Wilcock; and eleven great-grandchildren; four sisters: Mary (James) Tessen; Rita (Victor) Petit; Anna Suprise; Ruth Voster; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Doris Jamison; June (Ken) Stecker; Del Rose (Norman) Tiedt; Wilmar Fickel; Wally Hedtke and Andrew Johnson. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Besides her parents and husband Ken, Margaret is preceded in death by a brother, Francis Jamison; a sister, Evelyn Hedtke, son-in-law, Rick Trittin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Larry Suprise, Frank Suprise, Vernon Voster, Earla Johnson; Barbara Fickel; and Hilda and Ed Katzner.
    Funeral Mass for Margaret will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009, at 11 a.m. at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville with Rev. Msgr. James Feely officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
    A special thank you to Ron (Estela) Suprise, Tim Suprise, and the staff for their great care and concern for our mother. Also, a special gratitude to all who called, sent letters, cards and prayers to our mother while she was in Texas.
