    William C. Finnell, 80, Green Bay, died Monday morning, November 19, 2012. He was born on December 21, 1931 in Green Bay to the late Clarence and Eleanor (Mlnarik) Finnell. William attended Catholic Central High School in Green Bay and upon graduation enlisted in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict until his honorable discharge in 1954. On April 12, 1958 he married Judith Heitzkey in Green Bay. William worked for Proctor and Gamble for 35 years. He enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino. William cherished the time he spent with family and friends. He worked as a crossing guard for the Green Bay School District where he loved working with the kids. William was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.
    He is survived by his wife, Judith; children, Brenda (Mark) Salm, and their children, M.J. and Sarah; Lisa Melotte, and her children, Eric, Kayla, Karen and Chrissy; Pat (Joan) Finnell, and their children, Stephanie, Nicole and Pat Jr.; Steven (Holly) Finnell, and their children, Cory (Jenna),Tanner and Anna; Candy (Greg) Cornell, and their son, Matt (Elisha); Nicholas (Pam) Finnell; and their children, Ashlee and Britney; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Beverly (William) Rhodes; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Romuald and Jean Heitzkey; grandson, Randy Cornell; nephew, Kevin Verdegan; brother-in-law, Larry Denamur; nephew, Robby Denamur; and good friend, Randy "Big Randy" Cornell.
    Interment in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
