    Aspenna Frances (Penny) Johns, age 94, of Forest Junction, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012.
    She was born June 18, 1918, in Forest Junction, the daughter of Frank and Charlotte (Stanelle) Zirbel. She attended school in Forest Junction. On September 18, 1942, Penny married Gordon Frederick Johns in Chicago, IL, who preceded her in death on October 22, 1967. She worked at many places through the years, including the White Clover Dairy in Hollandtown and Kaukauna Klub in Kaukauna. Penny was a long term employee of Ariens Company, retiring in 1983. She was a lifelong member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction and was active in the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard, playing canasta, and baking for her family. Her coffee cake will be long remembered by all who enjoyed it. Penny loved spending time and energy with and for her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    She is survived by two daughters: Charlotte (Ed) Wroblewski of Washburn, WI and Kathy (Jim) Kolbe of Chilton, WI; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren: grandson Ed (Sarah) Wroblewski and their children Charley, Henry, and Sydney of Savage, MN, grandson Mike (Becca) Wroblewski and their daughter Morgan of Lombard, IL, granddaughter Sara Wroblewski of Bayfield, WI, granddaughter Molly (Jake) Kolbe Dahl and their children Noah, Dawson, Ellie, and Landon, of Rushford, MN, granddaughter Lottie (Darrin) Kolbe Most of Madison, WI, and grandson Jesse (Ibeth) Kolbe and their son Nathan, of Appleton, WI. Other survivors include her sister, Mabel Feistel of Forest Junction; two sister-in-laws: Lou Zirbel of Menasha and Bona de Doty of Chilton, cousin and dear friend, Jeanette Rosner of Little Chute, additional cousins, and many nieces and nephews. All of her family was special to her.
    Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Becky Kindschi with burial at Forest Home Cemetery.
    Friends may call on Friday, July 6 at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.

    Mabel L. Feistel, age 91, of N8854 Church Street in Forest Junction, died on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.
    Mabel was born on June 10, 1922 in Forest Junction, daughter of the late Frank and Lottie (Stanelle) Zirbel. She married Melvin "Pat" Feistel on March 20, 1943 at Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction. He preceded her in death in 1961. She was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Forest Junction. Mabel was famous for her chocolate chip cookies.
    She is survived by three daughters: Donna Nemecek, Linda Matzke, and Wenda (Larry) Cichucki; grandchildren: David (Kim) Johnson, Dan (Dana) Johnson, David (Janine) Barkow, Bob (Jodi) Watruba, Tami (Gordie) Gasch, Teri (Gus) Weber, Rick Matzke, Patrick Matzke, Kimberly Cichucki, and Nicholas Cichucki; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Verna Lou Zirbel and Mary Feistel; many special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    Preceded in death by her husband Melvin "Pat" Feistel; her parents; grandson Jeff Behnke; brothers: Reuben, Frank, and Hugo Zirbel; sisters: Hulda Sievert and Aspenna Johns; and other relatives.
    Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2013 at Zion United Methodist in Forest Junction. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Becky Kindshi with burial to follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Forest Junction.
    Friends may call at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m.
