    Obituary:
Richard H. Frakes, age 83, of Neenah passed away on Saturday morning, January 24, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born on October 10, 1931 in Neenah, son of the late Edward Frakes and Hazel (Horn) Frakes-McGlin. Dick was a 1949 graduate of Neenah High School, where he enjoyed playing football. After high school, Dick took a job with Kimberly Clark, and served them for 40 years until his retirement in 1989. On October 20, 1951 he married Dona Mae Weber in Kaukauna. Their marriage was blessed with two sons, two grandchildren, a great grandchild, and 63 wonderful years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting, fishing, time spent at the cabin near Boulder Lake; and rooting for the Vikings, though his family knows he was a closet Packer fan. Dick was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, whose sense of humor will be tenderly remembered by his family.
Dick is survived by his beloved wife, Dona; his sons: Dennis Richard Frakes, Neenah, David Edward (Stacy) Frakes, Neenah; grandchildren: Jacob (Becky) Frakes, Neenah; Jordan (Mark) Vanderloop, Kaukauna; great granddaughter, Morgan Raeann Frakes; a sister, Joyce (Roger) Cummings, Crandon; half-sisters, Pat (Larry) Schisel, Chilton, Kathy (Gene) Laux, Neenah; half-brothers, Mike (Marla) McGlin, Shiocton, Dennis (Susan) McGlin, Clintonville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Vivian Frakes, and step-father, Joe McGlin.
A Memorial Service for Richard will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church (473 7th Street, Menasha) with Rev. David Skarsten officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. He will be laid to rest in Neenah's Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Dick's name.
