She was born on July 14, 1942 to the late Harvey & Mina (Schmidt) Julius and was the twelfth of thirteen children. She graduated from Neenah High School and worked for George Banta for over 42 years until her retirement in August 2004.
Joyce is survived by her sister, Sandra Kuehn of Larsen and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Robert, Arthur, Donald, Richard, Gilbert, Gerald and Roy; sisters, Ruby Young, Helen Rodgers, Mary Steffens and Dorothy Julius.
