    Obituary:
    Ira Collar, Appleton, age 78, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 07, 2004 at his home. He was born on May 12, 1926 in Hortonville the son of the late Arthur and Gladys (Hackett) Collar. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was awarded the Purple Heart. After Ira returned from the service he pursued a lifetime career in Automobile Sales and still loved the business until he passed away. Ira was an avid golfer, football fan, traveler, music lover, and gardener. Later in his life, he learned to appreciate little children who were very important to him.
    He is survived by his sons: Ira "Bud" Jr. (Kathy) Collar of Appleton, Joseph (Mary) Collar of Menasha, Charles (Judith) Collar of Appleton, Andrew (Mary) Collar of Appleton, Dominic (Nancy) Collar of Menasha, and David (special friend Kim Koehler) Collar of Appleton, his grandchildren: Christopher Collar, Mollie Collar, Aaron (Amy) Collar, Mandi Collar, Kate Collar, Nicholas Collar, and Jessica Collar, Brian, Rebecca, and Matthew Collar; and his great grandson Sam Collar; and his brother Thomas (Audrey) Collar; and his former wife Bonnie Collar, and his very special friend with whom he spent the last years of his life, Patty Larson and her family Kirsten (Dave) Owens and their son Kieran; Erica (Andy) Smith and their children Harrison and Lilly; and Tim Larson.
    He was preceded in death by a son Christopher, his brothers and sisters: Morris , Everett, Dean, Paul, John, and Alice Borne.
    A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, July 9, 2004 at 7 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church, on Ballard Road and Broadway Drive with the Rev. David Lyle officiating. Friends may call at the Church on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established.

    Obituary:
    Andrew G. Collar, age 60 of Appleton, passed away late Thursday, October 15, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He was born October 4, 1955 to Paulene "Bonnie" and Ira Collar. On September 26, 1980, he married Mary Korinek.
    An avid outdoorsman, Andy loved fishing off the end of his dock and his hunting trips to Canada. He was a multiple-time state champion of sporting clays and was able to strike up a conversation with anyone. Andy worked for the Gibson brothers for six years until he began working for Bergstrom in 1982 as a manager of used car sales. He will always be remembered for his epic mustache and his love of quietly watching sports.
    Andy is survived by his wife of 35 years, Mary; his children: Kate Collar; Nick Collar; and Jessy (Charlie) Collar-Zander; as well as his mother, Bonnie. He is further survived by his brothers: Bud (Kathy); Joseph (Mary); Charlie (Judy); Dominic (Nancy); and David (Kim); his step-mother, Donna; many nieces and nephews, and his cat, Dr. Jones. He was preceded in death by his father, Ira; his grandparents, Joseph "Zip" & Marie "Nonnie" Schuster; and his brother, Christopher.
    A memorial gathering for Andy will be held from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. Please come and share memories of Andy, but don't wear black! To honor Andy, please wear something camouflage or Packer related.
