Obituary:
Evelyn E. Hameister of Greenville, age 92, died January 14, 2014 at Brewster Village. She was born June 16, 1921 in Greenville, daughter of the late Charles and Minnie (Geske) Steidl. Evelyn married Harold Hameister on August 25, 1945. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1999. Evelyn was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton.
Evelyn is survived by a nephew, Tom Steidl; two special cousins, Ethel Steidl, Brewster Village and Carol Steidl Beattie, Homestead, Florida. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives. Evelyn was preceded in death by an infant son, and three brothers.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00AM, Monday, January 20, 2014 at Brewster Village Chapel, 3300 Brewster Street, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Brewster Village.
Evelyn's family would like to thank every one of her caregivers, "from the bottom of our hearts, you were angels, one and all."
