    Schultz, Jr., Ferdinand H. "Fred"
    Ferdinand Henry Schultz, Jr., age 86, died peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2014 at the Appleton Health Care Center in Appleton.
    Fred was born March 31, 1928 in Appleton son of the late Ferdinand and Lillian (Schroth) Schultz, Sr. He was united in marriage to Ethel M. Brunette on August 19, 1950 in Appleton. Fred is lovingly survived by his wife, Ethel of 64 years, and five children, Ronald (Marie); Earl (Pat); and Freddy (Diane) Schultz; Iris (Dan) Kuba and Annette (Jeff) Lutz; Grandchildren, Donna, Joshua, Tony, Jason, Tanya, Amanda, Kale, Cameron, Tyler, Danielle and nine great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Bernice (Elmer) Sachs; Doris (Elmer) Heckenlaible; Betty Lowe; Lillian Quella; Allen Schultz, Bonnie Immel, and Cyril (Betty) Lemke.
    The funeral service for Fred will be held 11:00AM Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Valley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Michael L. Huff officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Fred's family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of the service.
    Fred's family wants to extend a BIG thank you to the staff and the community of Appleton HealthCare.

    Bonnie passed away Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 29, 1936 in Appleton to the late Ferdinand and Lillian (Schwoth) Schultz. She married Norm Immel and he preceded her in death in 2001. She then married Merlin Immel in 2007 and he preceded her in death in 2009. Bonnie was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church for many years. She enjoyed sewing, Elvis, the Packers, especially Brett Favre, knitting, crocheting, doing puzzles, flowers gardening and bird watching. She also had a love of dogs, having several over her lifetime. Her last years were spent at Gardens of Fountain Way, and she enjoyed her many friends there and the activities.
    Survivors include her children: Daniel Immel, Neenah, Diane (Dan) Ciske, Appleton and James (Sherri) Immel, Appleton; 5 grandchildren: Adam (Heidi) Ciske, Rachel (Travis) Swick, Lauren Immel, Kayla and Paul Immel; 3 great grandchildren: Nolan, Lucy and Fredrick; two brothers: Fred and Allen Schultz; a sister-in-law, Ann Immel.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; siblings: Cy, Bernice, Doris, Betty, and Lillian; mother and father-in-law, Retta and Wilford Immel and a brother-in-law, Glenn Immel.
    Funeral Services for Bonnie will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Appleton with Rev. Paul Schuler officiating. Entombment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may visit the family Tuesday at church from 2 PM until the time of services. A memorial fund is being established.
