Mrs. Agnes Breit, 90, of Rt. 1, Brillion, died unexpectedly Thursday evening at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton. She had been ill a short time.
Funeral services will be a 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St John, the Rev. Leonard Woelfe officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Breit was born June 7 1874, in the Town of Woodville daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Dohr. She was married to Adam Breit Oct. 27 1892. He died Aug. 21, 1943. She was a member of St. John Church and Christian Mothers Society.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Anton (Mathilda) Denzel of Brillion; two sons, Math, of Chilton and Peter, of New Holstein; 14 grandchildren and 49 great grandchildren.

CHILTON - John Dohr, a well-known resident of the town of Woodville died last week of influenza, aged 33 years. Mr. Dohr had been in the northern woods with friends deer hunting and after returning had an attack of influenza and grew worse rapidly until death came.

John Dohr of St. John, who died of influenza recently, was soon followed in death by his sister, Mrs. Wm. Giemer, who passed away suddenly at the home of her mother, of the same dread disease. She was 28 years old, and several years taught school in the county. She is survived by her husband and mother, three brothers and four sisters.

Mrs. Bornemann, nee Anna Dohr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Dohr,(sic) of St. John was born at St. John in 1887. She was married to William Bornemann in June, 1907. Three children, one daughter and two sons were born to them.
She is survived by her husband, three children, Elmer and Roland of St. John; Mrs. Frank Liethen, Appleton; four sisters, Mrs. Al Thiel, of Sherwood; Mrs. John Stohl, St. Nazianz; Mrs. Lou Clairbourn, San Diego, Cal.; and Mrs. Adam Breit, St. John, two brothers, Peter of Reno, Nevada; and Nick of Jersey City, New Jersey.

Mrs. John Stahl, 60, of Eaton, died this morning at the Holy Family hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gregory church, St. Nazianz, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Stahl was born Feb. 28, 1888, in St. John, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Dohr. After completing the teacher's training course at Oshkosh State Teachers college, she taught in the vicinity of St. John for five years. Prior to her marriage she traveled extensively, and spent ten years in California.
Nov. 30, 1922, she was married to John Stahl at St. John's Catholic church in St. John. The couple lived in that village for eight years and then moved to the Stahl homestead in Manitowoc County where they had since resided. The deceased was a charter member of the Christian Mother's society.
Survivors are the husband; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Breit of St. John and Mrs. Margaret Clayborne of San Diego, Calif; brother Nicholas of New Jersey.One daughter, their only child, preceded her in death.
The body may be viewed at the Kellenbenz funeral home in St. Nazianz after 4 p.m. Saturday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral services for John M. Breit, 43, Kaukauna, who passed away last Wednesday morning at Theda Clark hospital, Neenah, after a short illness, were held Tuesday morning at the Greenwood Funeral home, Kaukauna, and at Holy Cross church, St. John. Father Quella officiated and burial took place in the parish cemetery.
The deceased was born Dec. 12, 1903, at Woodville. On May 5, 1925 he married Anita Schmitz at Hilbert. For the past few years he had been employed as a machinist for the Kimlark plant at Neenah.

Alvina Busse, of Kaukauna, age 80, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008, at Manor Care. She was born January 11, 1928, in Woodville, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Cyrilla (Thiel) Breit. Alvina married James Busse and he preceded her in death on December 8, 1977. She was a devoted and faithful member of St. Katharine Drexel - St. Mary Site.

Rita M. Eichmeier, Kaukauna, age 79, died Tuesday, May 22, 2007. She was born October 4, 1927, to the late Math and Catherine (Denzel) Breit in Chilton, WI. Rita married Elmer 'Bud' Eichmeier on May 13, 1952. She was a longtime member of St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown. Rita worked as a beautician for many years, owning and operating her own salon in Chilton and later in Hollandtown. She enjoyed fishing, camping, dancing, card playing, travel and arts & crafts. Family was very important to Rita, she cherished the time she shared with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Cliff) Pahl; three grandchildren: Tiffany (Dan) Werner; Leah (Craig) VanHandel and their three children, Jacob, Lucas and Katelyn; and Deanna Pahl (Jared Baughman); two sisters: Dellie "Adela" (Stanley) Holoubek and Dolores (Laddie) Holoubek. She is further survived by Bud's family, Louella Snortum, Loretta Mason and Appie Eichmeier.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bud and three brothers-in-law: Art Snortum, Marion Mason and Norb Eichmeier.
Rita's Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2007, at ST. FRANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH in Hollandtown, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Kaukauna Man Dies As Auto Lands in Ditch HILBERT, Wis. - Kenneth Breit, 21, Kaukauna, was killed Thursday when the car he was riding in rolled over and crashed into a ditch on Highway 114 two miles south of Hilbert. Breit was pinned under the car and died instantly. The driver, Robert J. Hauser, 21, Rt. 2, Hilbert, received only minor injuries. Calumet County authorities said they did not know why Hauser lost control of the car. They said an inquest probably would be held.

Obituary:
John " Jack" Andrew Liethen, 81, of Onalaska, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2016 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.
He was born on February 5, 1935 to Frank and Tharcilla (Bornemann) Liethen.
He married Yvonne "Bonnie" Conrad on December 17, 1988 at Camp Douglas Chapel.
Jack retired from the US Army in 1991 as a full Colonel.
He loved spending time with his friends and family on Lake Lucerne and the Mississippi River. He was an avid outdoorsman and golfer.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Jeff (Julia) Liethen, Brian (Linda) Liethen, Paul (Heather) Liethen, Christine (John) Clark, Patrick Liethen, Jenifer (Bradford) Fry, Dena (David) Pope; grandchildren, Brent (Christine), Andrew, Jesse (Lauren), Lexi, Dylan, Abbygail and William Hesselberg, Jenna and Josie Fry, Taylor Pope; great grandchildren, Tatum, Elora, Casen; sisters, Phyllis Leach, Mary (David) Meier; sister in law, Myrna Liethen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frank E. Liethen, William Liethen; and brother in law, David Leach Sr.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Pastor Scott Skogen will officiate. Military Honors will be performed by the US Army Honor Detail.
In lieu of flowers donations will be given to the Lake Lucerne Association.
