    Julius B. Camponeschi, 1909 -- 2009 Julius B. Camponeschi, 100, of Kenosha died of a short illness on Monday June 22, 2009, at Golden Living Center.
    Born on Jan. 31, 1909, in Hurley, Wis., he was the son of the late Savino and Crocifissa (Pasqualucci) Camponeschi.He moved to Kenosha as a youngster and attended local schools graduating from Kenosha High School in January of 1927.He was a member of the U.S. Army during WWII from May 1942-October 1945 seeing action in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater.He was honorably discharged and earned a bronze battle star and service arrow.
    On Aug. 20, 1951, he was united in marriage to Harriet Thompson Meyer. They celebrated more than 52 years of marriage.She preceded him in death May 20, 2004.
    For over 45 years he was employed by Simmons Mattress Co. in Kenosha and Munster, Ind. While making their home in Hammond, Ind., Julius retired in 1974.He and Harriet returned to Kenosha in 1984 to make their home.
    Julius was an avid golfer.He enjoyed league play at Muni golf course, and played for Flint's Inn until the age of 90. He formerly belonged to the Kenosha B.P.O.E. and also in Hammond, Ind.
    He is survived by a brother, JosephCamponeschi of Kenosha; a sister in law, Barbara Camponeschi; a brother in law, Dr. John Russo; and ten nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by sisters, Pia Russo, Rose Matera Peterson, and Giovanna Camponeschi, three brothers, Nello, Peter, and Pietro in infancy.
    Memorials to the Visiting Nurse Association of Kenosha, 600 52nd St. Kenosha, WI. 53140 would be appreciated.
    Funeral services were privately held.Inurnment at St. George Cemetery.

    Obituary:
    Dr. Gregory John Russo, D.D.S. age 68, of Appleton passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at home surrounded by his family after he fought a hard battle with cancer and its complications.
    Greg was born in Madison, Wisconsin on June 6, 1944. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1962 and continued on to Marquette University and its Dental School where he graduated in 1968.
    Greg was married to Linda R. Russo (Morgan); they were married 45 years.
    Greg practiced dentistry in Wrightstown, WI, for more than 40 years. He was a man of high integrity and honesty who touched many patients and friends lives. Among other things, he enjoyed golfing, automobiles, racing, and building scale models. He loved vacationing in Florida with his wife, and spending time with his family and close friends.
    Greg is survived by his wife, Linda R. Russo (Morgan), his two children, Paul Russo and his wife Laura, Amie Russo Choate and her husband Brad; his 3 granddaughters Pia, Meghan, and Camille, and newborn grandson, Owen Bradley Gregory. His siblings; Giovanna Russo Feller and her husband John; and his brother John J. Russo, additional survivors include mother-in-law Nadine Morgan, sister-in-law Nancy Morgan, and brother-in-law, Dan Morgan, nephews Nickolo, Mario, and Bennito Russo, Nieces Kathryn Blom, Jill Scott, Briana Bauer, Bridget Morgan, and the rest of his extended family and friends.
    Greg is preceded in death by his parents, John G. Russo and Pia Russo (Camponeschi) and his father-in-law, Raymond Morgan.
    Our beloved husband, father, papa, brother, and friend to so many will be dearly missed.
    The funeral liturgy will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at ST.THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1810 N. MacDonald St at 11:00 AM with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30. 2013 from 4:00 until 7:00PM at the Fargo Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 PM, and also on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass at the church. Inurnment will be in the Highland Memorial Park at a later date.
    In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Hospice or St. Elizabeth Hospital. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
