    Judith A. (Reedy) Buechler, 69, Wrightstown, entered into the arms of our Lord on Sunday, March 29, 2009, with her loving family at her side, following a courageous journey with cancer. She was born December 19, 1939, in Green Bay, WI, daughter to John and Marie (Tilger) Reedy. Judy graduated from Wrightstown High School and OCTC, receiving a teaching degree. She continued with her education going to UWGB and FVTC, receiving her nursing degree. She had a variety of careers including teaching, nursing, catering, and co-owned and operated "Reedy's Restaurant." Judy married Bob Buechler, June 15, 1961, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown, and together were members all their lives.
    Judy was very involved in the community all of her life - volunteering, mentoring and was involved with numerous church organizations and charities. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who loved her family dearly. She enjoyed cooking, puzzles, dancing, entertaining her family and friends, and flower gardening.
    Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Bob, Wrightstown; seven children: Annette (John) Baeb, Lynne Buechler, Paul (Cheryl) Buechler, Michele (Vern) Longsine, Greg (Barb) Buechler, Nicole (special friend Jason) Buechler, and Melanie (Dan) Brick; nine grandchildren: Ryan and Nick Rosenbaum, Adam and Jeff Rotzenberg, Carson and Drake Buechler, Christopher and Sierra Hewitt, and Sawyer Brick; her father, John Reedy; siblings: Conrad (Carolyn) Reedy, Jean (Eugene) DeGroot, Carol (Bill) Fritsch, Pat (Bob) Behrens, Margie (Lenny) VanDerWegen, Rosemary Reedy and Cathy (Jerry) Vogels.
    Judy was preceded in death by her mother, Marie (Tilger) Reedy; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Rosella Buechler.
    Family and friends may call Thursday, April 2, 2009, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DeWane-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main St., Wrightstown, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at church, with Msgr. John H. Schuh and Fr. Carl Meulemans concelebrating. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery.     The family would like to express our deepest heartfelt appreciation and gratitude for the outpouring of phone calls, cards, visits, meals and flowers she received throughout her journey. May God bless all of you as you have blessed us with your caring, friendship and support.
    The family also would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses at the Bellin Cancer team, Bellin ER, especially Luis, and the fourth floor nurses at Bellin for their care and concern.

    Obituary:
    Margaret VanDerWegen, 65, Green Bay, passed away peacefully Monday, April 4, 2016. God gained a special angel after a long and courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of John and Marie (Tilger) Reedy was born October 16, 1950. Margaret was a 1968 graduate of Wrightstown High School, and continued her education at NWTC, where she earned an Associate Degree in Computer Technology. On October 9, 1971, she married Leonard VanDerWegen at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown.
    She was the kind of wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend of which legends are made. Her smile lit up a room, with a little sparkle in her eye. She adored spending time with her family at the cabin, and especially loved visiting with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, birdwatching, watching the Green Bay Packers and, let's not forget, chocolate!
    Survivors include her husband, Leonard; one son, Craig (Jenny) VanDerWegen; one daughter, Paula Thiel; three grandchildren: Lindsay and Allison VanDerWegen, and Dylan Thiel; one brother, Conrad (Carolyn) Reedy; five sisters: Jean (Eugene) DeGroot, Pat (Bob) Behrens, Carol (Bill) Fritsch, Rosemary Reedy, and Cathy (Jerry) Vogels; four brothers-in-law: Bob (Joyce) VanDerWegen, Larry (Harriet) VanDerWegen, Larry Stiebs, and Jim Kempinger; one sister-in-law, Denise (Tom) Schneider; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Robert and Alice VanDerWegen; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Bob Buechler; two sisters-in-law: Nancy Stiebs and Diane Kempinger; and one brother-in-law, Ron Lahaye.
    Friends may call at Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, with a Closing Prayer Service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation continues after 10:00 a.m. Friday at SS. Edward and Isidore Church, 3667 Flintville Rd (Suamico), Flintville. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church, Fr. David Hoffman presiding. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
    The family extends a special thank you to the wonderful staffs of Green Bay Oncology and Unity Hospice for their compassionate care, as well as to all the family friends and neighbors for their help through this journey. Your time, talents, and treats will always be remembered.
