Obituary:
Westley A. Johnson, age 29, New London, died on Saturday, January 22, 2011, as the result of a snowmobile accident. Westley was born on March 24, 1981 in New London, son of David and Lou Ann Johnson, Shiocton. He was united in marriage to Lauren Roe on March 22, 2002. His wife and children meant everything to him. He enjoyed the outdoors and being with his family and friends.
Westley is survived by his wife, Lauren, children, daughter, Jasmyn and son, Malykai at home, parents, David and Lou Ann Johnson, Shiocton; mother in-law and father in-law, Nancy and Greg Roe, Appleton; paternal grandmother, Audrey Johnson, Shiocton; and a half sister, Cary (Paul) Neess, Verona. He is further survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lula and George Van Tassel and Elmer Johnson.
Funeral services for Westley will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. at First Congregational Church, Shiocton with the Rev. Michael Isbill officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 2 p.m. until the time of service.A memorial fund has been established.
