    Carl F. Kalies, age 87, of 26 Circle Drive, Brillion, passed away Thursday, July 27, 1995, at the Americana Healthcare Center, Appleton.
    Funeral services will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, Brillion. Rev. Richard Scheibe will officiate with burial in the Brillion Community Cemetery.
    He was born January 10, 1908, in Hollandtown, son of the late Otto and Wilhelmine Kloss Kalies. He married Emma Maertz on June 4, 1927, at Kasson. He most recently worked at Gegere Tile Company in Green Bay until his retirement. Mr. Kalies was a member of Trinity Lutheran Chruch, Brillion.
    Survivors include six daughters and sons-in-law,
    Doris and Donald Olp, Manitowoc,
    Betty and Peter Zarnoth, Brillion,
    Shirley and Gene Jandrey,
    Virginia and Al Ziemer, all of Reedsville,
    Nancy and Norm Raatz, Appleton, and
    Bonnie and Al See, Brillion; four sons, and daughters-in-law,
    Ralph and Elaine, and
    Elroy and Marlene, all of Appleton,
    Lloyd and Janet, Brillion,
    Carl Jr. and Beverly, Greenville;
    35 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; one step great granddaughter; one sister, Emma Wolf, Milwaukee.
    He was preceded in death by his wife in November of 1984, one grandson, one granddaughter, one great grandson, four sisters and three brothers.

    Ralph F. Kalies Sr., age 85 of Omro, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh. He was born in Brillion to the late Carl Sr. and Emma (Maertz) Kalies on August 28, 1928. On February 19th, 1951 he married Elaine Kollath, she preceded him in death on February 15, 2008. Ralph was a veteran, having served in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion. He loved traveling and making new friends around the country and around the world. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed to polka. He was close with his family and spent time with them at every family event and more. He encouraged his children to be all they could be, assisting them when necessary but made sure they were self-reliant.
    He is survived by his children; Dr. Ralph Jr. (Gretchen Leach) Kalies, Dr. Sandra (Dr. Jeffery) Wierichs and Dr. Terry Kalies, grandchildren; Elizabeth Morrell (Jeffrey) and Peter Leach, Zachary Wierichs and Jennifer Rooyackers, brothers and sisters; Elroy (Marlene) Kalies, Betty (Pete) Zaroth, Shirley Jandrey, Virginia (Alfred) Zeimer, Nancy (Norman) Raatz, Carl Jr. (Beverly) Kalies, sisters and brothers in law; Janet Kalies, Donald Olp, Allen See, Dorothy (John) Peters, Donald (Monica) Kollath and Phyllis Bruex. Ralph is further survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives, close neighbor Elaine and friends.
    Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elaine, daughter in law, Barbara Kalies, sisters Doris Olp and Bonnie See, brother, Lloyd Kalies, brothers and sisters in law; Eugene Jandrey, Marlow Kollath and Victor Bruex.
    A celebration of life for Ralph will be held at 1:00PM, on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 11:00AM until the time of service. Full military honors will follow.

    Bonnie See, Appleton, 64, was called Home to Heaven with her family at her side on Thursday, March 27, 2008. She was born Oct. 30, 1943, in Brillion, the daughter of the late Carl and Emma (Mertz) Kalies. On May 30, 1965, she married Allen See in Wayside, Wis. Bonnie was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and a great supporter of the Circle of Hope Foundation. She loved collecting lighthouses, watching "America Idol" and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Bonnie was a breast cancer survivor for the past six years.
    She is survived by her husband, Al See, Appleton; two daughters, Kim (Chuck) Lieffring, Appleton; and Darcey (Chad) Krowas, Appleton; four grandchildren, Christian Lieffring, Ciara, Dayton and Pierce Krowas; three brothers and five sisters, Ralph Kalies, Appleton; Elroy (Marlene) Kalies, Fremont; Doris (Donald) Olp, Manitowoc; Betty (Pete) Zarnoth, Brillion; Shirley (Eugene) Jandrey, Reedsville; Virginia (Allie) Ziemer, Reedsville; Nancy (Norm) Raatz, Appleton and Carl, Jr. (Beverly) Kalies, New London; and sister-in-law, Janet Kalies, Brillion. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive Bonnie.
    Her parents, a brother, Lloyd Kalies; and sister-in-law, Elaine Kalies, preceded her in death.
    The funeral service for Bonnie will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 E. Glendale Avenue, Appleton, with the Rev. Daniel Thews officiating. Entombment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. The visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel and again at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
    The family would like to thank the many relatives, friends and neighbors for all the support, meals and prayers offered during Bonnie's illness. Thank you to the staff of Appleton Medical Center - Oncology/Radiation Therapy department for the care and close attention they provided for the past 6 years. A special thank you to the ER and ICU staff that assisted in her care preceding her death.

    Dr. Sandra Ann Wierichs, of Appleton, passed in the prime of her life on September 30, 2017. Sandra was the daughter of the late Ralph F. and Elaine A. (Kollath) Kalies. She was a graduate of Kimberly High School. Sandra then went on to further her education at Theda Clark with their in house x-ray technician certificate and then Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, MO. She later was certified with the American Veterinarian Chiropractic Association as a practitioner.
    Sandra loved her 4-H kids. She ran the Outagamie 4-H dog project with her pal MaryJo. Sandra was a project leader with B-Squared 4-H and a resource leader with 4-H for Outagamie County. She was also a volunteer teacher at the Winnigamie Dog Club. Sandra trained our own Great Danes Cash and Ryker, and both were nationally ranked as performance dogs. She took Cash to a National Championship and National Reserve Championship. Sandra used our home as a haven for Great Dane and Doberman rescue dogs. She was a life member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary. Sandra "The Princess" enjoyed sharing her Tierra with her Birthday Club ladies. She spent a lot of time caring for family members in need. She was a great cook, preparing bear, deer, elk or anything else Zach and Jeff would bring home.
    She is survived by her loving husband Jeff and their son Zachary; her siblings: Dr. Ralph Jr. (special friend Gretchen Leach) Kalies and Dr. Terry Kalies; in-laws: Louis J. Wierichs, Jr., Daniel (Cheri) Wierichs, Terry Wierichs, Maria Wierichs, and Christina (Tim) Kimball; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
    She was further preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Louis J. and Harriet (Czajka) Wierichs, Sr., a sister-in-law: Barb Kalies; and a brother-in-law: Thomas J. Wierichs.
    Celebration of Sandra's life activities will be held at Valley Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday evening October 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and continue Saturday October 14, from 12:00 noon until the time of service at 3:00 PM.
    She was a loving mother and wife, and she will be greatly missed.
