    Evelyn Hill Coonen, age 91, of Seymour, passed away January 2, 2010. She was born March 19, 1918 to the late Fred and Mary (Jordan) Hill. In 1938 she married Francis J. Coonen at St. Willebrord's Church in Green Bay.
    Evelyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, to her brood. She mastered the art of braided rugs, painting, quilting, rosemalling, and ceramics, but her favorite hobby and passion were her flowers.
    She and Fran were long time members of St. John Catholic Church, and former owners of "The Pinecastle" bar and banquet hall.
    She is survived by their daughter Betty (John), Colorado Springs; sons James (Karen), Appleton, Fran Jr. (Sue), Seymour, Terrence (Joan), Sobieski, and a special former daughter-in-law Flo Walker of Wautoma; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, 4 sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Fran, son Richard, sisters: Alma, Dorothy, Lillian, Alyce, and Betty; brothers: William, Robert, Fred Jr., and Howard.; great grandson Scott; 7 brothers-in-law and 4 sisters-in-law.
    The family will receive friends at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 from 9 AM until mass at 11 AM with Fr. Bob Kabat officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

    In lieu of flowers a memorials can be made to St. John Catholic Church.

Francis (son of Coonen, Franklin J. and Hartzheim, Helen Clara) was born 14 Jul 1919, Oneida, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 8 May 1995, Seymour, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; was buried , St. John Catholic Cemetery, Seymour, Outagamie, Wisconsin.
