    Entered into the fullness of Eternal Life on April 17, 2006 at the age of 91. Resident of Glendale, former longtime resident of Whitefish Bay. She is joined again with her beloved husband, the late Conrad J. Frank, Sr. She was the devoted mother of Richard A. (Myrtle Lee "Myrt") Frank and Conrad "Connie" J. Frank, Jr. Treasured grandmother of Rick (Melissa) Frank, Timothy (Judy) Frank and Shawn (Carmen) Frank. Dear sister of Chester (Muriel) Rammer. She is further survived by other relatives, great grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren as well as wonderful friends.
    Visitation will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Thursday, April 20 from 10:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial, which will be celebrated at 11:00 AM.     Age 79, died Friday, December 27, 1996 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah. He was born June 30, 1917 in Appleton, son of the late Frank and Mary (Hoffman) Rammer. Joseph married Ruth Paschen on June 22, 1943 at Niagara Falls, N.Y. He was a Fox Valley resident most of his life, was a graduate of Appleton High School and was formerly employed with Kimberly-Clark for more than 36 years. Joseph was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and traveling with his family, mostly to Texas to spend time there during the winter months. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and a member of the Fox Valley Campers. Joseph was an Eagle Scout and a Boy Scout leader for many years. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Ruth; two sons, James (Sharon) Rammer, Menasha, and John Rammer, Appleton; two grandchildren, Brian (Jenny) Rammer and Christina Rammer; two sisters, Germaine Frank, Whitefish Bay, and Margaret Heferren, Milwaukee; and one brother, Chester (Muriel) Rammer, Appleton. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Alice, a brother, Edward, and two sisters, Lucille and Agnes. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 31, 1996 at 11 a.m. at the Westgor Funeral Home, with the Revs. Richard I. Allen and Leonard Stockmeier officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. A memorial is being established.

    Chester Rammer, of Appleton, age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2008, at Manor Care with his family at his side. He was born July 4, 1920, in Appleton, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Hoffman) Rammer. Chester served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in Europe. He was a mason by trade in the Appleton area and later a partner in Master Masonry. Chester was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time at Woodtick Acres.
    Chester is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Muriel (nee Suehs) Rammer; six children: Michael (Karen) Rammer and daughter Sarah; Becky (Rick) Griesser and children Richie (fiancee Samantha) and Emily; Gail Rammer and children Julie and John Veternick; Karen (Jack) Bartelt and son Luke; Scott (Gwen) Rammer and children Andy, Katie, Daniel and Elizabeth and Paul (Chris) Rammer and children Matthew, Melissa, Nicole, Jamie and Stephanie; sister-in-law, Sylvia Collins; brothers-in-law: Carl (Loyola) Suehs and Ralph Gertsch. He is further survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his cat Sheba.
    Chester was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters: Margaret, Germaine, Lucille, Agnes and two infant sisters Cecelia and Isabelle; two brothers: Ed and Joe.
    The funeral service for Chester will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2008, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Judy Deckert officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Lutheran Church are appreciated.

    Marlene Magoon, Appleton, age 72, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center after a short illness. Marlene was born in Appleton on April 13, 1937, to the late Edward and Marie (Williams) Rammer. In December of 1964, she married her high school sweetheart, Roger Magoon, and they enjoyed 44 wonderful years together. In addition to her full-time job as wife and mother, Marlene assisted Roger in running their business, Magoon, Ltd., for many years. She is past president of the Women's General Auxiliary for Crippled Children's Hospital, past member of the United Methodist Women, and was involved with the Girl Scouts of America for many years. She was a member of the Appleton Medical Center Auxiliary, the White Shrine, and the Eastern Star. Marlene was a talented flower arranger, working for a time with Charles The Florist, and had a passion for needlework. She especially enjoyed making Christmas stockings for her family.
    She is survived by her husband Roger, Appleton; two daughters: Katherine (Tina Tonn) Rehfeldt, Appleton; J. Keri Kleinhuizen, Appleton; son Kurt (Kristi) Magoon, Menomonee Falls; five grandchildren: Norah Foat, Brittany (Bryan) Jones, Charlie Rehfeldt, A. J. Magoon, and Erin Magoon; three great-grandchildren: Ember Foat, Brook Jones, and Abby Jones; a sister Eve (Vern) Verkuilen, Bloomer; and two sisters-in-law: Sharon Rammer, Appleton, and Helen (Kenneth) McLellan, Appleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Edward and Robert, and a sister Char Faas.
    A Funeral Service will take place following the Eastern Star Service at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 12 at First United Methodist Church, 325 E. Franklin St., Appleton, with the Rev. Doyle Blanton officiating. Friends may visit at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Home from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday and directly at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
