    LEONARD H. BOETTCHER
    Funeral services for Leonard H. Boettcher, 57, of 204 Center St., Brillion, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church there.
    He died while attending Sunday morning worship services at Trinity Church.
    Officiating at the funeral services will be the Rev. Arden Staubs, pastor. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Appleton.
    Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
    The son of the late Herman and Martha Krueger Boettcher, he was born Sept. 1, 1913 in the Town of Maple Grove (Manitowoc County). He married Minnie Hinz on April 25, 1936 in Rantoul. She died on May 25, 1966.
    He worked for the Brillion Iron Works for the past 22 years, and also for the Reedsville Co-op and Larson Canning Co.
    Surviving are two sons, Marvin and Leon, Brillion; two sisters, Mrs. Adam Schamber, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Arnold Leuman, Pound; seven brothers, Everett of Poly Sippy; Earl, Wilmer and Elroy, all of Brillion, Arthur of Chilton; Arvie of Valders and Reuben of Reedsville, and two grandchildren.
    A son also preceded him in death.

    Arvie E. Boettcher, age 96, of Chilton, died on Thursday, March 5, 2015 in Sheboygan. He was born December 3, 1918 in the Town of Maple Grove, son of the late Herman & Martha (Krueger) Boettcher.
    He proudly served in the United States Army during WWII in the European Theater. Following his honorable discharge, Arvie married Myra Redig on April 17, 1948 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul. The coupled farmed together in rural Valders, where they also tended to a large garden, until their retirement in 1982 when they built the home in Chilton.
    He was a member of the Chilton American Legion and St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton where he volunteered time to count money. Arvie always looked forward to family gatherings and the many hands of Sheepshead that accompanied them.
    Survivors include his children: Rev. Dennis (Lela) Boettcher of Sheboygan Falls, Carol Boettcher of Horicon; a grandchild: Dr. Eric (Melissa) Boettcher; 2 great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Faith & Bethany Rose Boettcher; 2 sisters-in-law: Virginia Boettcher & Kathy (Bob) Binverse; and a brother-in-law: Charlie Graf. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Arvie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; many brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
    Funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at St. Martin Lutheran Church (717 Memorial Dr.) in Chilton with the Rev. Jon Christensen officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery. Friend may call at the church from 10:00 am until 11:45 am on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.
    A memorial fund has been established in the name of Arvie E. Boettcher for the St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton.

    Marvyn R. Boettcher, 68, Brillion, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009. Marvyn was born on Oct. 21, 1941, son of the late Leonard and Minnie Boettcher. He married Ellen Behnke on Oct. 30, 1968. Ellen preceded him in death on Jan. 25, 2000.
    Marvyn was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, and was a life member of the Brillion Conservation Club. He was also an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion and a member of the Brillion American Legion.
    Marvyn is survived by his children, Brian (Michele) Boettcher, Menasha; Tammy (Shane) Herron, Appleton; and Nichole (Andy) Faccio, Appleton. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Colin Herron and Lauren Faccio; a step-grandchild, Eric Vaneyck; a brother, Leon (Karen) Boettcher, Brillion; and many other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.
    The Christian Funeral for Marvyn will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion, with the Rev. Ross Henzi officiating. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
    The Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion, is assisting the family.

    Leon H. Boettcher, age 70, of Brillion, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 5, 2015 surrounded by his family.
    Leon was born on November 4, 1944 in Manitowoc, son of the late Leonard and Minnie (Hinz) Boettcher. He was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1962. Leon enlisted in the United States Army Reserves after high school. He and Karen Behnke were united in marriage on December 9, 1967 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. Soon after they were married, he was called to serve our country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Leon started his career at Huebner Implement in Forest Junction. He then went to work at the Ariens Company for over 47 years, supervising mainly in the paint department until his retirement in 2011. Leon also served the community on the Brillion Fire Department, retiring after 25 years in 1993. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion and the Bloedorn Becker Jensen American Legion Post 126 of Brillion. Leon loved hunting, fishing, going to the camper in Coloma. He especially liked watching his children and grandchildren play sports, and he loved spending time with his family.
    Leon is survived by his loving wife of 47 years: Karen of Brillion; their children: Dan (Barb) Boettcher of Brillion, Mike Boettcher of Brillion, Jody (Earl) Pomplun of Omro, and Lori (Jamie) Gajewske of Brillion; grandchildren: Brittany, Travis, Derek, Brady, Andrew, Matthew, and Jacob; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Jim (Florence) Behnke and Carol Beyer, all of Brillion; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Herman C and Esther Behnke, siblings and in-laws: Eldore Boettcher, Marvyn (Ellen) Boettcher, Orlando "Butch" (Barbara) Behnke, Orville Behnke, Anita (Elton) Stichert, Betty (Delmar) Zarnoth, Richard Doughty, and Lloyd Beyer.
    Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas Fricke. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Brillion where military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Post 126 of Brillion.
    Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m.

    Wyman Boettcher, age 77, of Athelstane, formerly of Chilton, died on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette, WI. He was born March 17, 1936 in the Town of Rantoul, son of the late Arthur & Verona (Luedtke) Boettcher. He married Jeanette Rusch on July 5, 1958 at the Rantoul UCC.
    Wyman had proudly served in the United States Army Reserves for 7 years.
    He farmed for a time in the Town of Chilton, and began working for his father who had a garbage collection route in the area. When his father retired, Wyman continued working for M&N Disposal and subsequent companies until retiring while working for Superior.
    He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church where he had volunteered countless hours throughout his life. He was also a member of the Silver Cliff American Legion, Wisconsin Steam Engine Club, and RS Vintage Steel of Calumetville.
    Earlier in his life, Wyman did a lot of woodworking and he and his son built the cabinets to remodel the cabin up north.
    As everyone knew, Wyman enjoyed antiques; through his years of life, he was able to salvage and save enough history to make his own 'museum' that he enjoyed sharing with others. Throughout his life, Wyman had a passion for animals. Whether horses, or dogs, these animals brought him much joy and they always seemed excited to see Wyman.
    The only earthly thing that Wyman loved more than animals, was his family, especially the time he was given to spend with his grandchildren.
    Survivors include his wife: Jeanette; his children: Liz (Shawn) McCredie of Manitowoc, Willie (Debbie) Boettcher of Chilton, Carl Boettcher of Boscobel; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Shirley Bartel and Arlene (Lyle) Roehrig; and his very special friend: Kurt Maedke. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers-in-law; and 2 sisters-in-law.
    Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, August 19, 2013 at St. Luke Lutheran Church (W3102 Killsnake Rd) in Chilton with the Rev. Timm Heath officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 18, 2013 and on Monday at the church from 9:30 am until 10:30 am.
