    Obituary:
    William Guenther, 67, a resident of Appleton for 40 years, died shortly after 7 o'clock Wednesday morning in St. Elizabeth hospital, where he had submitted to an operation last Friday. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the late residence at 271 Outagamie st. Burial will be in the Riverside cemetery.
    The deceased was born in 1854 and was married in Milwaukee in 1881, coming to Appleton shortly after and engaging in the grocery business at the corner of Atlantic and North Division Sts. A few years later he operated a flour mill at the foot of John st. where the tissue mill now stands. He operated that mill for 17 years after which he purchased the coal and wood business at Appleton junction and conducted it until his death.
    Mr. Guenther is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Eugene Fox, Green Bay; Cora and Clementine, Appleton; three (should be four) sons, Charles, Harold, Ont., Canada, Richard and Fred, Appleton.

    Obituary:
    Fred W. Guenther, Rt. 2, Menasha Age 71, passed away at 8 a.m. Saturday at his home. He was born May 18, 1890 in Appleton. Mr. Guenther had lived in Appleton all of his life and was the owner and manager of the Guenther Cement Products. In 1939 he purchased Haug Fuel and Supply Co. He retired in 1955. Mr. Guenther was a member of Oney Johnson-Blessman Post of the American Legion, having served in World War I. He is survived by his wife: one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Dorschner, Middle Port, N.Y. : one son, Fred O., at home: one brother, Charles Otto Guenther, Appleton: two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Fox, Green Bay and Mrs. David H. Crock, Appleton: 2 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Wichmann Funeral Home with Rev. John Seidler Africanizing. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Monday.

    Passed away at 11 o'clock Monday evening after an illness since last October. She is survived by her husband, 2 brothers. Charles Guenther of Appleton and Fred Guenther of Rt. 2, Menasha. 2 sisters, Mrs. David Crock of Appleton and Mrs. Minnie Fox of Green Bay. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and pending at Brettschneiders.

    Who passed away Monday morning was born in Appleton and has been a resident of Appleton all of her life. She was a member of the Congregational Church. Further services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brettschneider Funeral Home. Rev. H. Shelby Lee officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brettschneider Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial has been established for the Cancer Fund.
