    Hortonville, Age 79, God saw he was getting tired and a cure was not to be; so He put his arms around him and whispered, "Come to Me". Lloyd was called home by His Savior on September 23, 2010. He was born on March 8, 1931 son of Frank and Nell (Sommers) Koeppl. Lloyd married Karen Krause on June 16, 1956 at S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville and they celebrated 54 years together on June 16, 2010.
    Lloyd served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Germany, Italy and Africa. He was employed with Kimberly Clark for 39 years, retiring in 1990. He traveled to Utah, Texas, and Connecticut during his career to assist with paper machine start-ups. Lloyd was a substitute bus driver for the Hortonville School District for 47 years, retiring in 2005. He especially enjoyed driving the students to their sporting events and he received great pleasure watching his children and then his grandchildren participate in sports.
    Lloyd was a faithful member of the S.S. Peter and Paul Parish Community. He served on the Parish Council and Finance Committee, was a lector and enjoyed singing in the choir for many years. During the years his five children attended S.S Peter and Paul Catholic School, Lloyd volunteered as the athletic director and basketball coach. Lloyd and Karen traveled throughout the United States during their retirement years and enjoyed spring fishing at the "shack" on the Wolf River with family and friends. Lloyd was an avid walker and liked to ride his bike around town, waving hello to those he met along the way.
    Lloyd is survived by his wife Karen; his sons, Daniel (Ginny), Dennis, David (Chris), Steve (Geri); his daughter, Lisa Leeman (Chuck); grandchildren, Casey (Scott), Martin (Brooke), Juliet, Drew (Erin), Blair, Kayla, Chelsey, Michael, Courtney, Kari, Chailey, Charlie, Tommy, Bradley, McKenna, James, Konner, Ryan; great-grandchildren Kami, Spencer, Iria, Cameron. His sister Lola Mae Lapp, many special relatives and dear friends further survive.
    Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Alice Ann and her husband Fred Krueger, his brother-in-law Vernice Lapp, his father and mother-in-law Arthur Sr. and Ethel Krause and Arthur's second wife Hazel, sister-in-law Gladys Krause and his daughter-in-law Debbie.
    Mass of Christian Burial for Lloyd will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2010, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Hortonville, with Father James Feely, Father Paul Vanden Hogen and Greg Layton officiating. Family and friends are invited to call directly at church from 1 p.m. until the time of Mass. American Legion Post 55 will conduct military honors. Burial will be at the parish cemetery.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Affinity and Theda Care at Home Nurses and the staff at Cherry Meadows. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
    God Bless our Mom who was Dad's angel on Earth. Thank you Dad for loving Mom and us with all of your heart.

She was born on January 5, 1936, daughter of the late Frank and Nell (Sommers) Koeppl. On May 7, 1960, she married Frederick C. Krueger at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Stephensville. They enjoyed 42 years of marriage together until his death on January 15, 2003. She was a member of S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Hortonville and the Christian Mother's Society. She was employed at the Hortonville School District where she was affectionately known as the "shake lady". Alice enjoyed bowling and loved her corner flower garden. We know God has a corner for your flowers in heaven.     Obituary:
    Freedom - Mary A. Krueger, 62, of Freedom, passed away Tuesday evening, March 20, 2018 surrounded by her family at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton after losing her courageous battle with cancer and COPD. She was born September 8, 1955, daughter of the late Frederick and Alice (Koeppl) Krueger.
    She is a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom.
    Mary graduated from Hortonville High School in 1973 and attended Fox Valley Technical College earning her nursing degree.
    Mary worked as a nurse at Oneida Health Center and New London Medical Center where she was proud to be of assistance to others.
    Mary was very creative, always working with her hands on sewing and crocheting projects.
    Mary accomplished her goal of taking a trip to Ireland to celebrate her Irish heritage. She was also a life-long Packer fan.
    Mary is survived by her daughter, Andrea (Thomas) Gault; son, Mike (Rachel) Krueger; four grandchildren: Tristan, Samuel, Kylee, Lillian, and one more on the way; five sisters: Sue Krueger, Deb (Rick) Diedrich, Theresa (Kevin) Marquette, Tammy Krueger, and Cindy Krueger; four brothers: Chuck (Kaye) Krueger, Randy Krueger, Tim (Brenda) Krueger, and Tom Krueger. She is further survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
    In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister-in-law, Sandra Krueger; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
    Friends may call at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 9:00 am until the funeral mass at 12:00 noon with Fr. Walter Stumpf officiating. Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, is assisting the family with arrangements.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Mary's memory.
