    Died - At her residence in this city on the 12th inst., Sarah, wife of Peter McKenna Sen., at the ripe age of sixty nine years. She was born in Inthrop County, Ireland in 1809, emigrated to this country in 1830, resided in Ohio, till 1848, when she removed to Dodge Co., in this State thence to the town of Chilton in 1862, where she has since resided. She leaves to mourn her loss a large family of children who have all, long since, left the parental home. She lived the life of a Christian, was a good neighbor, a kind and affectionate mother, and passed from this life, to that which is Eternal without a murmur, respected by all who knew her. For 16 years she was the victim of paralysis, which rendered her helpless and made life itself a burden, but she bore it patiently, believing it5 to be her lot, and that reward awaited her in the future. She was buried on the 14th, inst. With the rites of the Catholic Church of which she was a zealous member. Her remains were followed to the grave by a large concourse of her friends and neighbors, who knew her but to love her and cherished her memory in time to come

    Obituary:
    Peter McKenna, one of the respected citizens of our city, passed away at his home in this city, on Sunday morning last at the age of 57 years, 9 months and 2 days. The sickness from which he died was a lingering one and for the past ten weeks he had been entirely confined to the house, failing continually until death.
    The deceased was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, April 12th, 1842. In 1848 he came to Wisconsin with his parents, settling in Dodge County where he resided until 1861 when he came to Chilton and located on a farm. He remained here a few yours and then left for the copper region in northern Michigan where he remained some time. He returned to Chilton in the early eighties and after a short residence in this city, he purchased property at Brant and engaged on running a grocery store. He was appointed postmaster of Brant in 1884 and again in 1893. He was also elected town clerk of Chilton and held the office for a number of years. In 1896 he was elected to the office of county clerk, which he held for two years. In 1899 he was chosen treasurer of this city and held that office when he died. He was an efficient and accommodating official and was greatly respected by everyone.
    The funeral took place on Tuesday from St. Augustine's Church. The Catholic Knights of the city and the city officials attended the funeral in a body. Two sons, Jos. G. and Peter Jr., and four daughters, Sara, May, Anna and Agnes, besides five brothers and a sister are left to mourn his death.

    Biography:
    JOHN EDWARD McKENNA, well known railroad conductor, was born March 11, 1874, at Chilton, Calu- met County, the son of Elizabeth and James McKenna. He is a pioneer resident of Antigo, coming here in 1881 with his parents when Antigo was a little hamlet. He attended the city schools of Antigo, and in 1890 en- tered the employ of the Milwaukee, Lake Shore & Western railroad which was purchased by the C. & N. W. R. R. Co. in 1893. Mr. McKenna rose to the rank of conductor, which position he still holds. October 11, 1898, he married Katherine F. Donohue, to which union six children were born. They are Eugene, Mary, Katherine, Mildred, Marjorie and Elizabeth.
    Mr. McKenna is a member of the Knights of Colum- bus, B. P. 0. E., and Order of Railway Conductors. He served on the Board of Education of the city of Antigo in 1919-20. The McKenna residence is at 1103 Superior street, at the Graham avenue intersection.
