    Obituary:
    Arlyn Herman Dorow, of Hortonville, passed away to his Savior's arms on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the age of 90. Arlyn was born in Dale, WI on December 10, 1924, son of Edgar and Rose (Meyer) Dorow. Arlyn received the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on December 26, 1924, at his home in the Town of Dale. He studied the Word of God in instruction and catechism classes at Bethlehem Lutheran School, Hortonville. Arlyn was confirmed on April 2, 1939. God has kept Arlyn in the Christian faith, until the day of his peaceful earthly departure. He was a faithful and lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville. Arlyn was a hardworking farmer, keeping the farm in operation after Edgar suffered a broken hip. After his mother became disabled, he took care of her, her chickens and garden. He was especially fond of cats. In the fall, his favorite past time was picking up hickory nuts. Arlyn gave 16 gallons of blood, which helped many people. He never forgot anyone's birthday! Arlyn enjoyed his many trips to the Ripon Good Cookie Factory and sharing them with everyone he loved!
    Arlyn is survived by his brother, Marvin (Charlotte) Dorow; sisters, Ellen (Marlin) Kluge, Mildred (Leslie) Hedtke and brother, Ronald (Diane) Dorow. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Arlyn is preceded in death by his mother and father and brother, Kenneth Dorow.
    Funeral services for Arlyn will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville with Rev. Joel Jenswold officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service directly at the church on Thursday. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Dale.

    Appleton - Marvin "Mike" Ernst Dorow, age 92, of Appleton, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on March 6, 2018. Mike was born on December 4, 1925, in Neenah, son of the late Edger and Rose (Meyer) Dorow. After graduating from Hortonville High School, he served in the United States Army. Mike married Charlotte Van Asten on September 12, 1953. He retired from Kimberly Clark after 30 years.
    Mike and Charlotte enjoyed Polka dancing and traveling throughout the United States and Canada. Mike stayed active by bowling, walking his dog Buddy and using a push mower to mow ten lawns a week. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and E.A.A. enthusiast. Mike was able join his fellow veterans during an Honor Flight last year. He was a deeply faithful man who volunteered at Trinity Lutheran Church for many years.
    Mike is survived by his loving wife of 64 years: Charlotte; their children: Jeff (Sue) Dorow and Linda (Kent) Gallaway. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Kristin Dorow, Jason (Sherrie) Dorow, Maranda (Shane) Abitz, and Courtney (Kendell) Zemple; great grandchildren: Allison Dorow, Andrew Dorow, Jacob Zemple, and Noah Zemple; siblings: Ronald (Diane) Dorow and Mildred (Leslie) Hedtke; as well as brothers-in law: Ron (Pam) Van Asten, and Marlin Kluge; sisters-in-law: Karen, Jackie Van Asten, and Darlene (Jim) Kneifel. Mike will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Arlyn, Kenneth and Ellen; mother-in-law: Ella Van Asten; and brothers-in-law: Virgil (Jan) Van Asten, and Guyland Van Asten.
    The funeral service for Mike will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10. 2018, at CHRIST THE KING CHURCH, 601 S. Washington St., Combined Locks. A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
    Mike's family would like to thank the critical care team at St. Elizabeth Hospital, the nurses and staff at Oak Park Memory Care and Ascension Hospice for their excellent care.

    Ellen M. (Dorow) Kluge, age 86 of Neenah, went to be with her Savior on Thursday, January 28, 2016. Ellen was born on August 28, 1929 in Neenah, to the late Edgar and Rose Dorow. She was confirmed in 1944 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Hortonville. Her confirmation verse was Romans 8:28 "We know that all things work together for good to them that love God." She graduated from Hortonville High School in 1948.
    Ellen married Marlin Kluge on May 28, 1949 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville. They wonderfully fulfilled their vows to each other and Jesus, "for better or worse, in sickness and in health, till death do us part". They attended Martin Luther church in Neenah and were active members for over 50 years.
    Ellen was meek, hardworking, big hearted and giving. She enjoyed knitting, baking, remembering special dates as well as spending time with their polka friends. Above all, Ellen deeply loved her family, grandchildren and five wonderful great-grandchildren. She enjoyed attending many of her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's events and giving them hugs.
    Ellen is survived by her husband of 66 years and 8 months, Marlin; her daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Kenneth Kemp; her grandchildren: Chad (Brooke) Kemp, Jill (Greg) Unser; and her great-grandchildren: Kaden and Kameron Kemp; and Jacob, Erica and Ashlynn Unser. She is further survived by her brothers: Marvin (Charlotte) Dorow, and Ronald (Diane) Dorow; and her sister, Mildred (Leslie) Hedtke; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her two brothers: Kenneth Dorow and Arlyn Dorow.
    The funeral service for Ellen will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Martin Luther Church, 436 S. Lake St., Neenah, Rev.'s Jason Oakland and Tyler Shinnick officiating. A visitation will take place at church from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park the following day.
