    Mrs. Richard Weyenberg (Elizabeth J. Meulemans) 803 E. 3rd St. Kimberly age 69, died Tuesday, November 5, 1996 at home peacefully in the presence of her family after a lingering illness. She was born September 20, 1927 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Felix and Adell (Appleton) Meulemans. Betty married Jack van Lieshout on August 24, 1946, he preceded h er in death on October 25, 1955. She married Richard J. Weyenberg of Little Chute on March 5, 1957. Mom loved to play Sheepshead, bowl, dance and spend her weekends up north at Silver Spur. Mom was the life of the party and made friends with all that knew her. Mom was a great cook and a great friend. She as a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and National Catholic Society of Foresters.     Dorothy Etka, age 85, of Kimberly, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 at her home. She was born on March 11, 1929, in Kimberly, the daughter of the late Felix and Adelle (Appleton) Meulemans. On August 3, 1957, she married the love of her life Robert Etka at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. Dot was a member of Holy Spirit / Holy Name Church and National Catholic Society of Foresters. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling, and she always had a love of playing bridge, knitting, and quilting. Dot was a very kind and generous lady; she will be missed by her family and the neighborhood kids.
    She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bob Etka; daughter, Mary Desens; three grandchildren: Rachael Etka, Jonathan Desens, and Hunter Desens; sister, Jean Kenjesky; brothers-in-law: Thomas Greunke and Don Vanooyen; and sister-in-law, Bea Meulemans. Dot is further survived by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her son, John Etka; sisters: Betty (Jack and Dick) Van Lieshout Weyenberg, Mary Vanooyen, and Peggy Greunke; brother, Robert Meulemans; and brother-in-law, Terry Kenjesky.
    The funeral liturgy for Dorothy will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at HOLY SPIRIT/HOLY NAME CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly. Fr. Bob Kollath will be officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of mass.     Robert "Bob" "RJ" J. Meulemans, age 79, of Winneconne, died Sunday, May 2, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, following a year long struggle with colon cancer. He was born September 22, 1930, to Felix and Adella (Appleton) Meulemans of Kimberly. Bob attended Holy Name Catholic Grade School and graduated from Kimberly High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Following his service he was employed by Western Electric (Alcatel-Lucent) for 34 years retiring in 1987.
    Bob married Beatrice "Bea" Markofski on September 28, 1957, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Berlin. They made their home in Darboy where they raised their six sons. After retirement, Bob and Bea moved to Lake Winneconne.
    Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, giving bear hugs to his grandchildren and his wife, playing cards and traveling with Bea. He was active in Boy Scouts, was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Winneconne, and a member of Giles-Luce American Legion Post 364, Winneconne.
    Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Beatrice; his sons: Bruce (Connie), Darboy; Carl (Dawn), Appleton; Joseph (friend, Donna), Reedsville; Andy (friend, Katie Johnson), Breckenridge, Colorado; Tony (Cindi), Appleton; grandchildren, Nick and Claire, Darboy; Ashley (Eric) and Katherine, Appleton; Kenneth (Tiffany), Houston, Texas; Sara (Joey), Lincoln, Nebraska; Paul, Reedsville; Ryan and Nathan, Appleton. Sisters who survive are Dorothy (Bob) Etka, Peggy (Tom) Greunke, and Jean Kenjesky, all of Kimberly; Mary (Don) Van Ooyen, Mesa, Arizona; sister-in-law, Irene Foslin, Janesville; brothers-in-law: Robert (Karen) Markofski, Berlin; Ben Werzinske, Ripon.     Bob was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth; a stillborn daughter; a sister and two brothers-in-law, Betty and Dick Weyenberg, Terry Kenjesky; and two sisters-in-law: Andrea Werzinske, and Sr. Mary Sharon Markofski.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 210 Pleasant Dr., Winneconne, with Fr. Jason Blahnik and Sr. Pam Biehl officiating. Military Honors will follow the Mass. Burial will be in the Holy Angels Cemetery, Darboy. A Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the tome of the Mass. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

She married the love of her life, Donald Van Ooyen on October 20, 1951, at Holy Name Church, in Kimberly, WI. Mary and Don raised their family of six children in Darboy, WI, before residing in Mesa, AZ.

    Margaret Greunke, age 78, of Kimberly, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born on June 15, 1936, in Appleton, the daughter of the late Felix and Della (Appleton) Meulemans. Peggy graduated from Kimberly High School in 1954. On March 2, 1957, she married Thomas "Tom" Greunke at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. Peggy was Mrs. Santa Claus at Prange's and a noon hour supervisor at Kimberly High School. She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, the Kimberly American Legion Auxiliary Unit 60, and former president of the Kimberly Homemakers. Peggy volunteered in many areas over the years, they include; Friends of Hearthstone, mission group at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, International Children's Fund and the "Shoe Box" for needy children, and St. Vincent de Paul. Many knew Peggy as the "Stuffed Animal Lady".
    Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Thomas; children: Kathy (Arnie) Butzlaff of Appleton, Diane (Andy) Netzel of Appleton, Timothy (Connie) Greunke of Appleton, William Greunke of Winneconne, and Michael Greunke of Waupaca; four grandchildren: Crystal (Phil) Romenesko and Ryan (fiancée Brittany) Smith; Kayla Greunke and Jake Greunke; great grandson Francisco Romenesko; sisters: Dorothy (Bob) Etka of Kimberly and Jean Kenjesky of Kimberly; brother-in-law, Don Vanooyen of Arizona and sister-in-law, Bea Meulemans of Darboy.     The funeral liturgy for Peggy will be held at 11:30 am on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 E. Lourdes Drive in Appleton. Fr. Brian Wideman will be officiating.     Mark Richard Van Ooyen, Little Chute, age 57, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014. He was born in Appleton on March 6, 1957 to Donald and Mary (Meulemans) Van Ooyen. He was a graduate of Kimberly High School. Mark served in the Army and was a veteran of the Gulf War. He also graduated from Fox Valley Technical College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. Mark was the buffet chef at Main Event Steakhouse since its inception.
    Mark was a free spirit that followed the beat of his own drum. He was an avid gardener and co-founder of the Little Chute Garden Club. Mark also enjoyed cooking, fishing, and woodworking.
    Mark is survived by his son Uriah (Elissa), Iron Mountain, MI; grandchildren: Ivy and Ian Van Ooyen, Jessica and Hunter Pahl; father Donald; and sisters: Pat (Jeff) Austin, Laurie Austin, Lisa Berghuis and Amy (Dennis) Vandenberg. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Mark was preceded in death by his daughter Sativa Pahl; mother Mary; and brother John.

    John Anthony Van Ooyen, 50, of Little Chute, Wisconsin passed away on September 17, 2013 with family by his side at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI.
    John was born January 11, 1963 in Appleton, WI at St. Elizabeth to Donald and Mary (Meulemans) Van Ooyen. He grew up in Darboy, WI and graduated from Kimberly High School, class of 1981.
    John was a son, a brother, a father and a friend. His siblings playfully nicknamed him "Cubby" and to many he was known as " Chopper John." He resided in Kewaskum, WI for 20 years where he ran a local, wild game butcher shop. He enjoyed summers fishing and camping, where great family memories were made.
    John is survived by his father, Donald Van Ooyen; former wife, Linda Van Ooyen; four children, Ashley (Rebecca) Van Jetzer, Hannah Van Ooyen, John Van Ooyen and Mikayla Van Ooyen; one grandson, Ashton Van Jetzer; Five siblings, Pat (Jeff) Austin, Laurie Austin, Mark Van Ooyen, Amy (Dennis) Vandenberg, and Lisa (Rob) Berghuis; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
    John was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Meulemans) Van Ooyen.
    Farewell service for family and friends will be held at St. Michael's church in Kewaskum, WI on Friday October 18, at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Michael's Church at 8883 Forest View Rd, Kewaskum, WI 53040.
    Private family memorial will be held for John at Clear Lake in Woodruff, WI, October 19, 2013.
