    Vander Velden, Virgil M.Virgil M. Vander Velden, 89, Howard, passed away peacefully at a local nur sing home on Wednesday, March 2, 2005. Virgil was born on Feb. 22, 191 6, to the late Antone and Catherine (Hermsen) Vander Velden in Little Chut e. In 1940, he married the former Eva Hansen in Isaar, Wis. Together th ey celebrated 65 years of marriage. During World War II, he served with t he U.S. Army in Germany. For 39 years he was employed by Armour Packing.Virgil is survived by his wife, Eva, Howard; one son, Robert (Bev) Vand er Velden, Green Bay; three daughters, Ellen (Tim) Murphy, Milwaukee; Ja ne (Dick) Korpela, Schofield; Lois (Marcus) Nichols, Lakeside, Mont.; fo ur grandsons, one great-grandson, and one step-great-grandson. He is furth er survived by two brothers, Elmer (Lorraine) and Gerald (Jean) Vander Vel den; three sisters, Verona McNamara, Mary (John) Kosinski, Gladys (Bud) Am brosius; six sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.Virgil was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Henry and Wilm er Vander Velden; and one grandson, Matthew Korpela.The family will receive friends at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, Howard-Su amico location, 1145 Cardinal Lane, on Wednesday, March 9, from 4 unt il 8 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the cortege leaves for churc h.     Vander Velden, Wilmer "Bill"Wilmer "Bill" Vander Velden, 80, lifelong Green Bay area resident, died Mo nday, Dec. 22, 2003, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was bo rn March 28, 1923, in Isaar to Antone and Catherine (Hermsen) Vander Velde n. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. Wilmer marr ied Fern L. Verstoppen on June 14, 1947, at St. John the Baptist Cathol ic Church. Bill worked at Pauly Cheese Company until his retirement in 198 5. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling, hunting with his sons, grandson s, brothers and nephews, fishing and spending time at his cabin.     Green Bay - Lori T. Vander Velden, age 49, Green Bay, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born January 1, 1969 in Green Bay to Gerald Vander Velden and the late Jean (Hooper) Vander Velden.

    Lori had a beautiful mind and was a very creative person with her own drawings, music and love of reading.
    She is survived by her father, Gerald; two brothers, David (Mary) and Gary (Jason); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is also survived by her dog, Bear.
    Lori was preceded in death by her mother, Jean.
    Visitation for Lori will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Avenue. A parish wake service will take place at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue Friday from 10:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, with the Rev. Mike Ingold officiating. Burial will be in Fort Howard Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy, memories, and photos of Lori may be shared with her family through her tribute page at www.lyndahl.com.
