    Coenen, Ralph James "RJ" Hend ersonville, North CarolinaAge 71, died Sunday, March 23, 2003 at Four Seasons Hospice Elizabeth Hous e. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin; son of the late Ernest and Adeli ne (Duce) Coenen, and lived in Wisconsin most of his life. He was transfer red to Hendersonville in 1983 with Daniels Packaging Company, where he w as the company controller. Following his retirement with Daniels Packagin g, he worked with Coldwell Banker-Hill and Associates for many yea rs as a real estate broker. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Rom an Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of the Disabl ed American Veterans and the Catholic War Veterans. He also had a passi on for golf and was a member of the Hendersonville Country Club.     Arlene L. Netzel, 81, Neenah, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 15, 2014. She was born March 15, 1933, in Appleton, daughter of Earnest and Adeline (Duce) Coenen. Arlene married to Donald Netzel April 13, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church, Wausau. Arlene was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Neenah. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse for Theda Clark Medical Center and St. Agnes Hospital for many years. Arlene's love and joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
    Arlene is survived by her 4 children: Dan (Barbara) Netzel, De Forest; Betsy (Jack) Borchert, Neenah; Ellen (James) Sprague, Fremont; Marty (Pamela) Netzel, Rochester, MN; 9 grandchildren: Jill and Eric Netzel; Ninah Netzel; Jeff, Joe (Katie) and Jake (Kristy) Borchert; Karissa Metko; Andrew and Lauren Netzel; 3 great grandchildren: Kenadie, Keira and Rylie Borchert; brothers and sister: Allan (Ellen) Coenen, James (Rosie) Coenen and Marion Gambsky; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Don; son, Michael; parents; a brother, Ralph Coenen; and a sister, Carol Kargus.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2014, at Peace Lutheran Church, 1228 S. Park Ave., Neenah, with Rev. Ricky P. Schroeder officiating. Interment will be in Clayton Cemetery, Town of Clayton. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to Peace Lutheran Church would be appreciated.

    Brillion - Allan Arthur Coenen, age 83, of Land O' Lakes, WI, formerly of Brillion, died peacefully on July 3, 2018 at Heartwood Homes Senior Living in Appleton. He was born on July 27, 1934, son of the late Ernest and Adeline (Duce) Coenen. Allan graduated from Appleton High School in 1952, and after working at Appleton Paper Mill, he served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. After his military service, he went on to further his education and graduated from U.W. Oshkosh and later received his Masters Degree in Mathematics from Marquette University. He married his high school sweetheart, Joan Gericke, who preceded him in death in 1971. He then married Ellen Michels on December 23, 1972. Allan was a high school math teacher and football coach at Brillion High School for over 29 years. After his retirement, he and Ellen moved to Land O' Lakes, WI, where he coached the Eagle River junior varsity football team for 3 years. One of Dad's greatest honors was being inducted into the Wisconsin High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame in 1992. He was proud of his military service, and served as Chaplin and was Past Commander of the Land O' Lakes VFW Post 8400. Dad loved fishing, football, card games and his family. Survivors include his children: James (Ronda) Michels, Julianne (Gene) Huddleson, Kathleen (Fuzzy) Wieting, Michael (Julie) Coenen and Paul (Angie) Coenen. Eleven grandchildren: Evan(Amanda) Huddleson, Karissa Wieting, Matthew Wieting, Joshua (Kayla) Wieting, Nicole (Will) Fietzer, Tyler (Alexa) Coenen, Kevin Coenen, Krystle Coenen, Angel Coenen, Katianna Coenen and Zig Coenen, as well as seven great grandchildren: Brylee Ellen Huddleson, Ava Wieting, Sophia Wieting, Treven and Kimberly Fietzer, Gunner and Arie Coenen. Allan is further survived by a sister: Marian Gambsky, a brother, James (Rosie) Coenen, a sister-in-law, Sis Coenen, as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Allan was preceded in death by his first wife Joan, his wife Ellen, his siblings, Ralph Coenen, Carol (Chuck) Kargus, and Arlene (Don) Netzel, brothers-law and sisters-in-law, Gordon Gambsky, John W. (Sarah) Hale, James S. (Delores) Hale, Marian (Don) Derfus, Clarice (Clarence) Wage, Jeanette (Ervin) Bubolz, Lucille (Elroy) Bubolz. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday July 9, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 West Ryan St. in Brillion. The Rev. Tom Pomeroy will officiate. C arol was employed by Atlas Tag & Label for 17 years before retiring. She m arried Eugene “Chuck” Kargus on October 8, 1960; they enjoyed 42 yea rs of wedded bliss.She is survived by her husband, Chuck; her sons: Jeffery Kellett, Brad (Pa tricia) Kellett, Donald (Bernie) Kellett, Gregory (Michelle) Kargus; her s tepchildren: Jeffrey Kargus, Bradley (Debbie) Kargus and Kathryn Pobuda; h er 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.     Freedom - Germaine Green (Diedrick) of Freedom passed away on February 9, 2018. Germaine was born in Kaukauna on June 9, 1932, the daughter of the late Agnes (Coenen) and George Diedrick. Germaine married her beloved husband, John Green, on November 27, 1956.
    John and Germaine enjoyed spending time at their cottage on Berry Lake with family and friends. Playing cards was a favorite pastime. In recent years, Germaine most enjoyed her card games with the 6-Pack and Misfits groups and the Bowers family. Germaine belonged to the St. Nicholas Church Choir for 45 years and took great pride in volunteering with the Freedom Food Panty and the Freedom Area Historical Society since their very beginnings.
    Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Germaine often said there was no greater joy than seeing a new baby come into the family.
    Germaine is survived by her children; Randy (Vicky), Shari (Mike) Greiner, Jay (Tien) and Tammy (Bert) Lim. Grandchildren; Sarah (Eric) Kranski & Paige Green, Nick (Kristen) Greiner, Aren (Heather) Greiner & Heather (Kyle) Early, Reese & Jonathan Green and Abby & Lydia Lim. Blessed with nine great grandchildren; Maeven & Callie Jo Kranski, Brayden & Adalyn Greiner, Adrian Greiner, and Mason, Levi & Colton Early. Sisters- & brothers-in-laws Helen Diedrick, Dolly & Eddie Gerhartz, Jim VanVreede, Verna Berken and Bud Bowers.
    Germaine is preceded in death by her daughters; Sharon & Mary; her parents; two brothers, Rich and Larry Diedrick; father- & mother-in-law John & Dora (Verhasselt) Green; and great-granddaughter Makaya Greiner. Brothers- and sisters-in-law Norb (Harriet) Green, Bill & Lorraine Green, Florence (Leo) Schmidt, Francis & Leo Weiland, Rosella (Orin) Kortz, Jerry Berken, Vince & Elaine Green, Esther VanVreede, Bob & Beady Green, Eleanor Bowers and Charlotte Green.
    Germaine is especially grateful to be surrounded by her children, family and supporting friends, including Bud Bowers, during her illness.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2037 County Road S, Freedom.     Richard J. Diedrick, Wrightstown, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, entered eternal life peacefully on his 75th birthday, April 23, at a local hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of the late George and Agnes (Coenen) Diedrick. Richard graduated from Freedom High School, and married his wife of 54 years, Helen Nelessen, on August 2, 1955. He was a machinist for Tuttle Press, later known as Hoffmaster, for 47 years, retiring in 1997.
    Richard was an active and faithful member at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown, where he was a communion distributor, usher, involved in homebound ministry, and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He enjoyed playing softball, playing cards, bowling, breakfast with his buddies, going to his grandchildren's many activities, fixing things and making repairs for his family. He also enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers play. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, all who have brought him so much pride and joy.
    Richard will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Helen; seven children and their spouses: Dianne (Carl) Mooren, De Pere; Dorene (Ken) Schuster, Brillion; Daniel (Susan) Diedrick, Greenleaf; Dennis (Linda) Diedrick, Green Bay; David (Susan) Diedrick, De Pere; Dean (Sharon) Diedrick, Wrightstown; Duane (Diane) Diedrick, Wrightstown; twenty-two grandchildren: three great-grandchildren; one sister, Germaine (John) Green, Freedom; and one brother, Lawrence (Dolly) Diedrick, Combined Locks, WI; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Eugene (Bernice) Nelessen, Bob (Marion) Nelessen, Rita Nelessen, Millie (Gordy) Newhouse, Lorly (Gene) Van Camp, Dolly (Dale) Meulemans, Ceil Nelessen, Mary Kessler, and Art Vosters; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at church. Entombment will be in Allouez Mausoleum.     Lawrence G. Diedrick, Combined Locks, age 74, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Larry was born in Kaukauna on January 19, 1936 to the late George and Agnes (Coenen) Diedrick. He married Delores "Dolly" Weyenberg on June 29, 1957 at St. Nicholas Parish in Freedom. Larry was employed at Miller Electric, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club, until his retirement in 1994. After retirement, he worked as a part-time maintenance person at Capital Credit Union. Larry's hobbies included walking, carpentry, working outdoors, and spending time at White Potato Lake. He took great pride in the beautiful roses he tended to in his yard. Larry enjoyed watching the Packers and was a big fan of Kimberly Basketball. He was an usher and communion distributor at St. Paul Parish, where he was a lifelong member. Larry also cooked meals for the Appleton Homeless Shelter and COTS. He treasured time spent with family and friends and enjoyed the annual deer hunting trips he and Dolly took with friends.
    Larry is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Dolly; children: Karen (fiance Mark Moorhead) Hanamann, Appleton; Lynn (Mike) De Koch, Kimberly; and Mike (Pattie), Hopewell Jct., NY; grandchildren: Ben (Katie), Ryan and Matt De Koch, Kailey, Marissa and Nathan Diedrick, Jake Hanamann; sister Germaine Green; sisters and brothers-in-law: Helen Diedrick, Lois (Carl) Hietpas, Jim (Janet) Weyenberg, Roy (Kathryn Ann) Weyenberg, Mary Ann (Ken) Vander Wielen, Tom (Carol) Weyenberg and Carol (Gary) Micke; step-brothers-in-law: David (Jackie) and Mark (Pat) Vandehey; and Godchildren: Dan Hietpas, Dave Diedrick, Tammy Lim and Gretchen Jacob.     In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother Rich Diedrick; brother-in-law John Green; father and mother-in-law Merv and Myrtle Weyenberg; step-father-in-law Don Vandehey; step-brother-in-law Dick Vandehey; and step-sister-in-law Mary Lou Vandehey.
