    Shirley A. Lamers (nee Jansen), Little Chute, age 78, passed away peacefully, November 7, 2006, at St. Paul Home. She was born March 22, 1928, in Little Chute to the late Albert and Anna (Wydeven) Jansen. On July 2, 1949, she married Sylvan E. Lamers, who preceded her in death in March 1980. Shirley was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute where she sang in the Choir. She was involved with the Jacob Coppus Post 258 American Legion Auxiliary. Shirley also volunteered many hours for the American Red Cross and the Elections Board in Little Chute. Shirley enjoyed walking, playing cards, baking, and most of all she enjoyed being with family. She had been one of the first employees of Jack's Pizza and retired from AAL.
    Shirley will be sadly missed by all who knew her especially her loving family including; two daughters: Lisa (Keith) Mankovecky, Appleton and Ann (Merle) Reis, Kaukauna; three sons: Tim (Lisa) Lamers, Oshkosh; Rick (Bonnie) Lamers and Randy (Ann) Lamers all of Kaukauna; 12 grandchildren: Brian Lamers, (special friend Scott Tiedemann), Chad (Amy) Lamers, Amber Lamers, Kayla Lamers, David Reis, Sarah Man-kovecky, Jacob Reis, Kyle Mankovecky, Miranda Reis, Nicholas Lamers, Brittany Lamers, and Brennan Lamers, a great-granddaughter, Kendra Lamers and two sisters-in-law, Millie Jansen and Grace Jansen. She is further survived by her husband's family; Vern (Mary Jo) Lamers, Marvin (Mickey) Lamers, and Rita Gorschals.
    In addition to her parents and her husband, Sylvan, she was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister-in-law: Bob Jansen, Richard Jansen, Glen (Eva) Jansen and a sister, Ruth Hinton. She is furthers preceded in death by her husband's family; Don (Margaret) Lamers and Ralph Gorschals.
    Shirley's Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 10, 2006, at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 Pine Street, Little Chute with Msgr. Mark Schommer officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna, a parish prayer service will conclude the evening at 7 p.m. A visitation will take place again on Friday at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in her name.
    Shirley wrote: "For those I love and for those who love me. When I am gone, release me, let me go, I have so many things to see and do. I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it's time, I traveled alone. I won't be far away, for life goes on - so if you need me call and I will come; and then, when you come this way alone ... I will greet you with a smile and "Welcome Home." The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at St. Paul Home for the care and love they showed Shirley. An extra thank you to Pam and Robin for their special care and compassion.

    Shirley married Lamers, Sylvan E. 2 Jul 1949. Sylvan (son of Lamers, Edward H. and Ebben, Anna) was born 22 Feb 1928, Little Chute, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 22 Mar 1980; was buried Aft 22 Mar 1980, St. John Catholic Cemetery, Little Chute, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]

    Richard A. Lamers, age 56, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay following a brain aneurysm. He was born October 14, 1954 in Appleton to the late Sylvan and Shirley (Jansen) Lamers. On September 15, 1977 Rick married the former Bonnie Ver Voort at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna. The couple resided in Kaukauna their entire married lives. Rick retired from Appleton Coated - Combined Locks Mill in 2008 after 32 years of service. Rick was an avid Packer fan, a proud Lions Club member and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at "Captains Cove".
    He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Bonnie, a daughter, Kayla and a son, Nick, both at home; 2 brothers: Randy (Ann), Lac Du Flambeau and Tim (Lisa), Oshkosh; 2 sisters: Ann (Merle) Reis, Kaukauna and Lisa (Keith) Mankovecky, Darboy. He is further survived by his wife's mother, Joan Ver Voort, her sister, Sue (Bill) Barta, very close friends, Judy and Paul Dietzen, his booyah buddy and chef, Ken (Cheryl) Dart, many other friends too numerous to mention, and many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, George Ver Voort and his brother-in-law, Ronnie Ver Voort.
    It was Rick's wish to improve the lives of others via his organ donation.
    Funeral Services for Rick will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2011 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends will be received on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

    Brian Christopher Lamers, age 43, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016 after a brave and inspiring struggle awaiting a liver and kidney transplant. He was born to Randall and Ann (Buchinger) Lamers on March 8, 1973. He married Scott Tiedemann on May 15, 2015 after being together for 12 years. Brian graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1991 and then obtained an Associate's Degree through Fox Valley Technical College. At the height of Brian's professional career, he was responsible for marketing to a tri-state region for the student loan division of Associated Bank.
    Brian's passions were sobriety, sunsets, cooking, making others happy, his three dogs (Mickey, Zachary, and Maxwell), nature hikes and camping; and his heart will always reside at his parents' cabin on White Sand Lake.
    Brian is survived by his loving husband, Scott Tiedemann; his parents Randall and Ann Lamers; his brother Chad (Amy) Lamers; his sister Amber (Carlos) Torres; Parents-in-law: William and Carole Tiedemann; brother-in-law Matthew (Jill) Tiedemann; sister-in-law Stacey Winter; Goddaughter: Kendra Lamers; nieces: Brianna Lamers, Halli and Lena Rief; nephews: Trent Lamers, Sullivan Torres, future nephew Everett Torres, Harrison Tiedemann, Keaten Rief; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Sylvan and Shirley Lamers; maternal grandparents: Leo and Rita Buchinger; uncle Rick Lamers and grandfather-in-law, Chester Hancock.

    Funeral Services for Brian will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
