    Cordell (Rosin) Hurst, nee Kempen, Kaukauna, age 89, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on November 20, 1924 in Hollandtown, daughter of the late William and Hattie (Arts) Kempen. Cordell was united in marriage to Harold Rosin on December 2, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1976. She was then married to Floyd Hurst on June 28, 1978. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1989. Cordell graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1942 and proudly never missed a day of school. She was a longstanding and faithful member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and its Altar Society, the American Legion Auxiliary in Wrightstown, an avid bowler in her younger years and in her later years, golfing and cards. She enjoyed many great times and memories at the cottage on Berry Lake. Cordell was a member of the Rainbow Club until she met Leo Micke, her fiancé, who she resided with until her death.
    She is survived by her 12 children: Ron Rosin, Sue (Marty) Becker, Robert (Mary Kay) Rosin, James (Pam) Rosin, Shirley (Tom) Havel, Harold (Vicki) Rosin Jr., Carl (Sandi) Rosin, Lori (Bob) Gossen, Luann (Tom "Cubby") Calmes, Alan Rosin, Mary Ambrose (special friend Will Schroeder) and Dennis Rosin; two step-children: Jerry (Melody) Hurst and Tom (Kleo) Hurst; 24 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 1 step great-grandchild; a sister, Delores (Gerald) Schaefer; 6 sisters-in-law: Germaine and Irene Kempen, Irene Schiebe, Ruth, Betty and Toni Rosin. She is further survived by Leo's children: Joan Micke, Gene (Kathy) Micke, Gary (Carol) Micke, Duane (Lynn) Ihde and Don (Barb) Micke.
    She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Donna Rosin; a grandson, Brian Rosin; brothers and sisters: Merlin Kempen, Arvilla (Roche) Vande Hey, Evelyn (Ralph) Van Lanen and Russell Kempen; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Inez Ziettlow, Ervin Maves, Irma (Walter) Schiebe, Melvin (Geraldine) Rosin, Ervin, Oscar, Robert, and Lester Rosin and Ed Schiebe.
    The Mass of Christian Burial for Cordell will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2014 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Parish Prayer at 7:00 p.m. concluding the evening.     Ronald A. Rosin, age 65, of Appleton, passed away at Cherry Meadows Hospice, Appleton, on Monday, July 11, 2016. Ron was born on May 30, 1951, in Appleton, to the late Harold and Cordell (Hurst) Rosin. He married Donna Jean Peters on April 18, 1975 in Oneida; she preceded him in death in 2003.
    Following his graduation from Kaukauna High School, Ron was employed at Elm Tree Bakery (later Rich's Bakery). Following the closure of Rich's, he was a truck driver and then was employed at Thilmany Paper Company until his retirement. Ron attended Holy Cross Catholic Church and school and later became a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Appleton. His fondest memories of St. B's were the church picnics. He truly enjoyed the rides and games with his entire family. Ron served as president of Catholic Financial for 26 years. He felt honored to sit next to Cardinal Timothy Dolan at a District Meeting in Milwaukee.
    Survivors include his daughter, Becky Rosin of Suamico; his sisters and brothers, Sue (Marty) Becker, Robert (Mary Kay) Rosin, James (Pam) Rosin, Shirley (Tom) Havel, Harold (Vicki) Rosin, Carl (Sandi) Rosin, Lori (Bob) Gossen, Luann (Tom) Calmes, Alan Rosin, Mary Ambrose and Dennis Rosin; his grandchildren, Austin Toyra, Peyton and Aryanah Rosin. He is further survived by many other family members and friends.
    The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna, on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you his special friend Jere Ambroso, and Nancy and Todd at Cherry Meadows, for their loving care. A memorial has been established in his name.     Brian John Rosin, 33, passed away unexpectedly from an automobile accident on Friday, January 28, 2011. He was born in Appleton, on December 4, 1977, the son of Ronald Rosin and the late Donna (Peters) Rosin.

    A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Friends will be received at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of Mass.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Brian's name.
    Brian will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was loved by many family and friends.
