Obituary:
John Lukasko, Jr. age 62, Eland, died Thursday, January 10, 1974 at his home.
He was born May 17, 1911 in Streeter, IL, the son of the late John and Ilona (Bandick) Lukasko.
On August 7, 1935 John was united in marriage to Verna Spranger in Birnamwood. She survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include one son, James Lukasko, Edgar; three daughters, Suzanne (Elton) Bauch, Birnamwood, Geraldine (Larry) Starr and Elaine Lukasko, all of Eland; 13 grandchildren; and two sisters, Sue Biedron, Wausau and Marie Szura, Gurnee, IL.
John was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Janet Lukasko, one sister, Anna and one brother, Joseph.
Funeral services were held January 12, 1974 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. Claude Zabinski officiated. Interment was in the parish cemetery.

John married Spranger, Verna 7 Aug 1935. Verna (daughter of Sprangers, Matthew and VandeHey, Antoinette) was born 15 Feb 1913; died 23 Jun 2000. [Group Sheet]
