    Notes:

    Obituary:
Louis G. "Sonny" Anderson, age 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born December 6, 1917 to the late Gilbert and Elizabeth (Christianson) Anderson in Menasha.
Louis lived in Menasha all his life and helped in the family store on Garfield Ave. when he was young. He worked at Whiting Paper Mill for 45 years, eventually becoming the Mill Superintendent. He loved and enjoyed doing things with his family, which led to buying a cottage on Lake Poygan where five generations still enjoy spending their time.
He loved to fish and spent many summers in Canada. At the cottage he enjoyed fishing and visiting all of the establishments along the lake. He also liked to supervise the charcoaling of turkey while playing Pfoof and card games. He was a world-class cribbage player and was also good at "31."
Louis loved making crafts and painting them up. He would make a number of crafts the exact same way, making sure all of his grandchildren received one of them. Whatever the task at hand, he always worked hard and made sure he did it the right way.
Louis is survived by his daughter, Nancy (Richard) Taves; his daughter-in-law, Ellen Anderson; his grandchildren: Debra (Terry) Moderson; David (Michelle) Taves; Nanette (Don) Drews; and Robin (Tom) Reetz; 10 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. He is further survived by the family of his sister-in-law and friend, Evelyn and the late George Beyer, along with his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette; his son, David; and his grandson, Scott Taves; his brothers: Gilbert and Harry; and his sisters: Lucille, Helen, and Esther.
A visitation for Louis will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, May 16, 2014 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home and will continue at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 200 N. Commercial St., Neenah, on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the funeral service at NOON, Rev. Clarence Harms officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Louis's name.
The family would like to extend a warm thank you to Affinity Visiting Nurses for their compassionate care and support.

Can't wait for our next Pfoof Game! An honor it will be! I love you my Dear Grandpa! Your Curly Girl I will always be!
Nancy would like to extend a special thank you to her daughter Robin and Tom, who brought her dad into their home and allowed him to spend his last days and weeks with the entire family, and to my husband who made sure Dad got to all of his doctor's appointments and shopping trips.
