Obituary:
Doris A. Dohr, 84, Hilbert, died on Friday, Feb. 29, 2008, at the Franciscan Care Center in Appleton. She was born Dec. 19, 1923, in the Town of Woodville, daughter of the late John and Mary (Bell) Hauser. Doris worked at Tecumseh Products in New Holstein, until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in St. John, and enjoyed the time she spent bowling and traveling throughout the country with her friends. She also enjoyed planting and caring for her flower garden.
Survivors include her son, John (Benita) Dohr; three grandchildren, Melissa (Jeremy) Polar, Jessica Dohr and fiance, Joey Yerkman and Lorissa Dohr and special friend, Mark, all of Chilton; a sister, Geraldine Baird of Arpin, Wis.; and two sisters-in-law, Joyce Hauser and Marie Hauser, Chilton.
She was also preceded in death by six brothers, Ervin "Speed" (Marie) Hauser, Donald Hauser, Harold "Pete" Hauser, Robert "Cookie" (Maxine) Hauser, David "Buddy" Hauser and Oscar "Ozzie" Hauser.
Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, at St. John Catholic Church in St. John, with the Rev. Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2008, when the service will be held.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Franciscan Care Center for all of the loving care given to Doris.
