    Buchholtz, Daniel H.Daniel H. Buchholtz, age 73 of Weyauwega, passed away Thursday, March 1 0, 2005, at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton. He was born July 10, 193 1, in New London, WI, son of the late Leo and Leona (Thiel) Buchholtz. D an was a resident of the Weyauwega area his entire life. On September 4, 1 955, he married Lila Grosklaus at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwe ga. He worked for Faulks Bros. Construction over 40 years.He was a member of the Weyauwega Fire Department for 25 years retiri ng in 1980. Dan was a life member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weya uwega and had held various offices. His hobbies were wood working, fishi ng and gardening.He is survived by his wife: Lila; his children: Doug (Cheryl) Buchholtz a nd child Heidi, Waupaca; Kenneth and special friend Cindy, Oshkosh; Stev en and special friend Kae and children Keri and Chance, Waupaca; Joanne (M axey) Lee and children George and Kate, Rainbow City, AL; Rachel (Neal) Lo ehrke and children Sabrina, Amanda and Nicholas, Weyauwega; William and sp ecial friend Mary Ann, Green Bay; a brother: Leo (Ann) Buchholtz, Fort Wor th, TX; two sisters: Virginia Schroeder, Forsythe, MT; Julaine (David) Boe hm, Genera, OH; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.The Christian funeral service for Dan will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 1 4, 2005, at St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church in Weyauwega with Rev. Robbin Ro bbert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. Frien ds may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Weyauwega from 4 p. m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the ti me of the service.     Obituary:
    Douglas E. Buchholtz, of Waupaca, Wisconsin, age 52, passed away at his home on Monday, March 15, 2010. He was born on March 23, 1957, in Weyauwega, WI; son of Daniel and Lila (Grosklaus) Buchholtz. He was the oldest of six children. On June 18, 1977, Doug married Cheryl Nigbor at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Weyauwega, WI. They made their home in Waupaca.
    Doug was a funny guy who enjoyed a good laugh over coffee with friends and family. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. He was very proud of his garden which yielded some of the best tomatoes, and no weeds. He also enjoyed cooking, and a good fish fry! He will be missed greatly by his family and everyone who knew him.
    Doug is survived by his wife of 32 years, Cheryl Buchholtz of Waupaca, WI; daughter: Heidi (Michael) Pavlu of Gig Harbor, WA; mother: Lila Buchholtz of Weyauwega, WI; brothers: Kenneth Buchholtz of Fond du Lac, WI; Steve Buchholtz of Waupaca, WI; Bill Buchholtz of Appleton, WI; sisters: Joanne (Max) Lee of Rainbow City, AL; Rachel (Neal) Loehrke of Weyauwega, WI; mother-in-law, Shirley (Harold) Roehl of Princeton, WI; brothers and sisters-in-law: Mike (Dawn) Nigbor of Waupaca, WI; Marc (Katherine) Nigbor of Kimberly, WI; Carey (Daniel) Zimmerman of Ripon, WI. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Buchholtz; and his father-in-law, Robert Nigbor.
    A Visitation for Doug will be held on Friday, March 19, 2010, from 4-7 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, WI. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
