    Obituary:
    Wayne Russell Hawley, 72, of Oshkosh, was prayed into heaven by his loving family on Friday, Sept. 14, 2007. He was born to Clifford and Carrie (Johnson) Hawley on May 20, 1935. On July 1, 1961, he married Elizabeth Ann Masilko. Wayne was a Christian, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a puzzle maker, card player, and humorist. He was an avid reader, loved to whistle, and could not miss a Packer game. Wayne served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1962. He worked for Oshkosh B' Gosh, Morgan Doors, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 27 years, and in retirement worked for Nelson Marketing.
    Wayne is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Gail Lynn Hawley, Bonnie Jean (Rob) Fink, Pamela Kay (Paul) DeLap, Cristine Marie Montalvo (special friend, Linda), and Mary Kay Shelton; grandchildren, Dustin and Tony Montalvo, Laura, Emily, and Benjamin DeLap, Leah and Sierra Fink, and Margaret Shelton; great-grandchildren, Nicole Montalvo and Haiden DeLap. He is further survived by siblings, Jean Behnke, Alice Wachtveitl, Doris (Russell) Bounds, Joyce Rasey, Kathryn (Raymond) Tice, Janet (Robert) Himmler, Ruth (Andy) Anderson, Carol Frank, Jerry Hawley, David Hawley, and Tuddy Hawley; and many nieces and nephews.
    Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Kenny, Richard, and Donald Hawley; in-laws, Thelma and Larry, and two grandchildren, Bobbie Jean Fink and Nicole Elizabeth Montalvo.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Wayne at 12 Noon on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Most Blessed Sacrament, St. Josephat site, 1333 Walnut Street, Father Thomas Reynebeau officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation and support to be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.

    Obituary:
    David Lee Hawley, 78, passed away peacefully from complications of respiratory failure on Wednesday, September 14th 2016. He was born October 7th, 1937 in Oshkosh, son of the late Clifford & Carrie Mae (Johnson) Hawley.

    David served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 8 ½ years. He enjoyed singing hymns while taking walks at Brewster Village. David was humble, kind & most generous.

    David is survived by his two daughters: Liza Hawley, Appleton, and Tina (Marco) Antunez, San Antonio, TX; two granddaughters: Arianna and Autumn Antunez, San Antonio TX; His six sisters: Jean (Robert) Behnke, Alice Wachtveitl, Doris Bounds, Ruth Anderson, Katherine (Raymond) Tice, Janet Himmler; and his brother: Gerald Hawley. He was further preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
    Funeral service for David will be 11:00 AM today Friday September 16, at PLYMOUTH CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH, 1325 Georgia St, Oshkosh, with Jim Stadler officiating. Visitation will be held this morning at the church beginning at 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made & accepted at the Plymouth Congregational Church.
    David's family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire nursing staff and doctors at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton for their phenomenal care, and ThedaCare At Home Hospice in Appleton for their loving care and support, and Brewster Village for their compassionate caring staff.
