    Obituary:
    Gen Slama, 100 years and 11 days, passed away December 24, 2010, in Green Bay. She was born December 13, 1910, in Bay Settlement, daughter of the late Xavier and Eugenia (DeGrand) Leanna. She married Frank W. Slama on May 6, 1939, at Holy Cross Church in Bay Settlement.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, on December 28, 1985; three brothers, Herbert, Michael and Francis Leanna; six sisters; Agnes Zebuhr, Ceal Basten, Myrtle Schauer, Lillian Willame, Ida Mc Veigh and Agatha Wyckoff.
    One sister, Dolores Selissen, Allouez; survives her. Further survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Frank M. and Mary Pat Slama; daughter, Suzanne Severa; three grandchildren, Angela (Bobby) Kuepper, Christopher (Lisa) Slama, Amber (Ted) Storm; three great-grandchildren, Everett and Owen Slama, Talulah Storm; numerous nieces and nephews.
    During her 100 years, Gen saw the introduction of automobiles to replace horse and buggy travel, telephones, indoor plumbing, television, air travel, space exploration and Wi-Fi. She purchased a computer in her early '90s, learned to navigate the Internet and communicate with e-mail. Gen spent many years in Eagle River trout fishing, camping and travel with her husband, Frank, upon his retirement. Through it all, Gen was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and citizen. We love you Mom!
    Visitation will be in the Gathering Space at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams Street, Green Bay, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Rev. Kenneth DeGroot O. Praem officiating. Entombment will be in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. Blaney Funeral Home is assisting the family. To send online condolences, please visit www. BlaneyFuneralHome.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
    Geneva's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Mason Manor, Rebekah Haven and the Odd Fellow Home for their excellent care of Geneva.
