    Obituary:
Jane Annette Dietzler, 69, passed away Thursday November 17, 2011. Jane was born December 21, 1941 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Fred and Beverly (Twite) Barribeau, who currently reside in Kaukauna. Jane was a graduate of Kaukauna High School where she was a cheerleader, Homecoming Queen, Prom Queen and Valedictorian of the class of 1960 and winner of the Thilmany Scholarship. She attended University of Wisconsin - Madison. Jane was an active lover of sports and played tennis, softball, and volleyball. She was a Badger fan and a Packer fan and will always be a Kaukauna Galloping Ghost. Jane was a competitive speed skater as a teenager and won medals on the rink. She liked to go out dancing and was a snappy dresser always. Jane loved to spend time with her dear friend Jackie Reardon of Kaukauna and she enjoyed traveling with her companion Larry Schnese to visit her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Jane is survived by three children: Tom (Marianne) Hearden of Summit, New Jersey, Wendy (Enrique) Armenta of Syracuse, New York, and Kevin (Denise) Hearden of Germantown; a brother: David (Carrie) Barribeau of Shawano; her sister: Susan Barribeau of Madison; and Jane's loving companion: Larry Schnese of Kaukauna. Jane loved to spend time with her six grandchildren: Jane and Katherine Hearden, Tommy and Joey Armenta, and Will and Cole Hearden.
The funeral liturgy for Jane will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 21, 2011 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna. Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Monday afternoon from 2:00 PM until the hour of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing a memorial fund to honor Jane's memory.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kevin Mortara of Appleton, Patti Martin, PA, the dedicated caregivers of ThedaCare Hospice and the medical staff of Appleton Medical Center's Martha Siekman Cancer Center, located at Appleton Medical Center.
Jane had a wonderful spirit, a very lively sense of humor, and a great deal of courage. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
