    Obituary:
    Ralph R. Hurley, age 93, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at home surrounded by his loved ones and caregivers. He was born January 22, 1923 in Lebanon, WI the son Edward and Margie (Rebman) Hurley. Ralph graduated from Bear Creek High School in 1941. He immediately enlisted in the US Army and served overseas in the European Theater with Army Corps of Engineers during WWII. His first and last punctual meeting was on a date which turned into a marriage of Ruth F. (Filen) and Ralph Hurley on October 5, 1945 at St. Therese Catholic Church.
    Ralph worked with Riverside Paper initially in the mill and later in the office achieving the title of Materials Manager a post he held until his retirement after 43 years of dedicated service. He was dragged to Paper Industry Expos in Chicago only twice, which was two to many. He was good with people and did well in his personal touch in these meetings. He loved to golf, play volleyball, walleye fish and was a member of the men's fast-pitch softball team. He was the yearly cook in the northwoods deer camp. Most of all Ralph loved his quiet time at home with his family on his couch.
    Ralph is survived by his children, Lee (Mary) Hurley, Colleen (David) Frank, Peggy (Fred) Cazzola, Timothy (Trish) Hurley, Terri (John) Schoettler, Dianne (Steve) Seidl, Scott Hurley, and Kim (Dan) Kappell, his 21 grandchildren, 28, and counting, great-grandchildren, his sisters Sarah Krueger and Jo Zehren, and his life-long neighbor Donna Westgor. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruth F. Hurley, his sisters Rosie Parks and Peg Lindsay, his brother Joseph Hurley and several in-laws.
    A Mass of the Resurrection for Ralph will be on Saturday June 18, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, corner of Morrison St. and Wisconsin Ave. Rev. Bill Hoffman celebrant. Private inurnment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday, June 18, at St. Therese Catholic Church, from 9 AM until time of Mass.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Ralph's name will be established. Special thank you to the Staffs at Thedacare at Home Hospice and Rennise Assisted Living for their loving care of Ralph, especially his Physical Therapist Rachel.

    Ralph married Filen, Ruth 5 Oct 1946. Ruth (daughter of Filen, Eric Thorvould and Deoneseus, Theresa) was born 20 Apr 1921, Kaukauna, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA; died 4 Feb 2003, Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]

    Rosemary Alice Ann Parks, KaukaunaRosemary Alice Ann Parks of Kaukauna passed away peacefully surround ed by her loving family at Cherry Meadows of Peabody Manor on Monday, De c. 27, 2004. She was born on Aug. 27, 1927, in Bear Creek, Wisconsin, t he daughter of the late Margie and Ed Hurley of Bear Creek. She married J ohn L. Parks on Jan. 29, 1949, at St. Mary's Catholic Church (Bear Creek ).She is survived by her four children: Julia P. Sati (Kaukauna), Jeffr ey J. Parks (Monterey, CA), Lisa R. Thompson (Ithaca, NY), and Janet L. St ratton (Appleton); three siblings: Ralph Hurley (Appleton), Sally Krueg er (Buffalo Junction, VA), and Jo Zehren (Kimberly); and five grandchildre n: Emily, Davis and Hillary Parks (Monterey, CA), Ian Thompson (Ithaca, N Y) and Grant Stratton (Appleton); and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, and her sist er, Margaret J. Lindsay (Manawa, WI).Rosemary's life was enriched by loving and caring neighbors on Welhouse Dr ive and by friends of many years. She enjoyed over 20 years of servi ce as a ward secretary at Kaukauna Community Hospital. Her deepest joy w as caring for her children and grandchildren, who were the greatest lega cy of 40 years of marriage to John. She will be fondly remembered for ma ny lovingly prepared meals, the warmth of home, and her generosity to frie nds and family.Funeral services were held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at St Alo ysius Church in Kaukauna. There will be a private interment at St. Mary 's Cemetery in Kaukauna. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established by the fami ly to benefit the Martha Siekman Cancer Center and Cherry Meadows Hospi ce of Appleton in recognition of the outstanding, compassionate support Ro semary and the family received at the end of her life.The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna assisted the Parks family, 766 -2099.
