Obituary:
Ellis O. Ohlrogge, age 89, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Oakridge Gardens, Menasha. He was born on September 29, 1924; son of the late William and Bernice (Wheeler) Ohlrogge. On September 6, 1947 he was married to Marjorie L. Sugden. Ellis honorably served his country with the U.S. Marines during WWII. He built he and Marjorie's home in Neenah and also built their cottage in Lakewood and enjoyed spending time there with his family and friends. They also enjoyed traveling together throughout the states in their motor home. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge#61 in Neenah and worked with Kimberly-Clark as an electrician, retiring in 1986. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Marjorie Ohlrogge; daughters, Jeanne (Kurt Adams) Mykel and Marie (Ed Brendemihl) Ohlrogge; grandchildren, Shanta (Justin) Burton, Angela Mykel and Paul Ohlrogge; great grandchildren, Connor and Charlotte Burton and his brother, Gary (Dorothy) Skinner. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Glen and Walter. A memorial service for Ellis will be held on Monday, January 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 140 S. Green Bay Rd, Neenah with the Rev. Stephen W. Dietzler officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to benefit St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Neenah would be appreciated. Ellis family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Oakridge Gardens, Menasha for their compassionate care
