    Mrs. Mary Sheehy passed away at the home of her son Edward at Kaukauna Thursday morning. She had been ailing for some time and several weeks ago was taken to St. Mary's hospital at Green Bay were she underwent an operation. After recovering from the operation, she was removed to her son's home at Kaukauna and was improving when pneumonia set in which proved fatal and cause her death.
    The deceased was 64 years of age and was born at Maple Grove in May, 1866. Before her marriage to Dan Sheehy she was Miss Mary O'Brien. Mrs. Sheehy came to Brillion with her family in 1913 and has resided here ever since.
    Those surviving are her husband, Dan Sheehy of Minneapolis, Minn., and six sons, John, Earl and Frank of Brillion, Irwin and Howard of Minneapolis and Edward of Kaukauna, and one brother, Thomas O'Brien of Webster, N.D., and three grandchildren.
    The remains were brought to Brillion for burial and funeral services were held Saturday at St. Mary's church, the Rev. Kraus officiating. Interment was in the Catholic Cemetery. The pallbearers were Steve, Joe and Pat Gulhin and Pat Sheehy of Maple Grove, John Beumler and Ambrose Pfluger of Brillion. We are sorry to state that Irvin Sheehy was unable to attend his mother's funeral, due to being confined to a hospital in Minneapolis, following an operation for appendicitis . Thomas O'Brien of Webster, N.D., and Dan Sheehy of Minneapolis were here to attend the funeral.

    Shirley Mae Hutchison, age 87, of Wild Rose, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017. Shirley was born on May 11, 1930 in Kaukauna, WI. She was a very spirited woman and spent most of her life raising her six sons and helping others. Eventually, Shirley would become an ordained minister and she thoroughly loved serving the Lord. One of her biggest passions, especially in her later years was traveling the country.
    Shirley is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Tanya) Hutchison of Las Vegas, NV, Bradley Hutchison of Wild Rose, Ricky (Paula) Hutchison of Mooresville, NC, and Anthony (Rhonda) Hutchison of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, Donald (Joan) Sheehy; a sister, Patricia (Bill) Hietpas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
    She is preceded in death by the father of her children, Carroll "Butch" Hutchison, son Patrick, son Brian, parents Edward and Martha (Van Boxtel) Sheehy, brother Clifford Sheehy
    There are no services planned at this time. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family.
