Email PJHAEN@aceks.com Date: 1/06/2002 7:24:06 PM Pacific Standard Time From: pjhaen@aceks.c om (Paul Haen) to: JAYWILPOLT@aol.com No, you never did but that is okay. Gave me time to look at what you h ad sent to Paul West at Little Chute. Are you off the family of John Henry (referred to as Henry J) the oldest s on of Peter and Anne Marie?Who is Ben HARTZHEIM? I have a Richard Frederick Hartzheim that married R ita Marie Haen on 29 MAY 1937.The attached is some of the information I have that is in conflict with wh at Paul West said you provided to him on a CD. I have furnished his 5th g rade class with everything that I had concerning John Henry (Henry J) old er brother of Jacob. I have another list of items that I copied from ance stry.com that I have found to be in conflict with what I was given and wh at I have found for the Peter and Anne Marie HAEN family line.Where did you find the maiden name as Krobmann/Kroburium for Anne Marie, w ife of Peter? The priest at St. George stated he couldn't find any ent ry on her death or burial there, nor could he find a maiden name for he r. She died between the census of 1870 and 1880. He stated he could n ot find any entry on their oldest daughter, Marie Anne/Anne Marie Hae n, b: 1843 in Prussia, that was on the 1850, 1860 census but not on the 18 70 census. I walked the cemetery in 1991 and couldn't locate anythi ng on either of them, just on Peter. My cousin found the Catholic Church census of 1880, where Jacob listed h is parents as Peter and Anne Marie (Morimor) HAEN from Sheboygan County, W I. He said that is how it looked like they spelled her maiden name.I had a Haen in Holland do some checking and he could not tie our Haen wi th any Haen from Xanten. Said the Haan/De Haen crest was from that area b ut could not locate any family with sons named Peter, Mathias, and John He nry. I have been given different areas that they might have came from. P russia is what they all listed on all documents except the ship's manifes t. Middle Russel Brook is what it is suppose to translate to and I cou ld find nothing close to that in Germany or Holland. Prussia is not ve ry close to Holland Mathias passed it down that they were Dutch.Tom Keyes told me a Clemet Rammer had copied the St George church recor ds and so I wrote to him. He just passed my letter off to the research ce nter in Sheboygan Falls and they wanted to research the Office of the Regi ster of Deeds. I have been there and Peter didn't register much of anythi ng there. Are you just working on the direct line of John Henry (Henry J.)? Paul Date: 1/07/2002 11:44:42 AM Pacific Standard Time From: pjhaen@aceks.com (P aul Haen)To: JAYWILPOLT@aol.comJay, No apology required. I am retired from the Navy and have some of t he guys that worked for me back in 1975 - 1977 that email me. Also ha ve a couple of guys that have web sites for the USS Ranger that I exchan ge information with. Then I have a couple family lines other than the Ha en that I work am working on. Never get in a rush with genealog y, do it at a snail's pace to ensure that what I have is true and not an a ssumption. There are something like 30 of the older Haen listed in ancestr y.com and I found 19 have incorrect dates on them. I live in Kansa s, so I rely on census and books for my information and usually try to ver ify what I find. Vic is from my family line, actually he is from the older broth er of my great grandfather Jacob. I started doing my research in 1985 a nd have corresponded with him many years back.I really appreciate the information you sent and would accept anything el se that you have that is with the Peter Haen Family line. Paul
