    Donald Carl Eggleston, age 74, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center.
    Don was born in Clintonville on January 22, 1940 son of the late Lloyd and Hildagard (Gehrt) Eggleston. He was a Clintonville High School graduate and also served his country in the US Army. Don was united in marriage to Donna Jensen on January 26, 1963 in Clintonville. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church of Appleton where he served as an usher. Don was formerly employed with Aid Association for Lutherans from October 12, 1970 until he retired on July 31, 1996. He enjoyed camping, golfing and sightseeing. In his spare time to keep busy he delivered parts for Les Stump Ford.
    He is survived by his two children, Craig (Patti) Eggleston, Appleton; and Dawn Muehlenbein, Mt. Carmel, IL; three grandsons, Kyle, Douglas and Alexander, three brothers, William (Virginia) Eggleston, Appleton; Robert (Teddy) Eggleston, Marion, WI; Richard (Sue) Eggleston, New Berlin; a sister, Joanne Rasmussen, New London; and by nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna of 49 years; two brothers, James and Howard and by an infant sister, Phyllis.
    The funeral service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Star of Hope Mausoleum Chapel 3131 N Richmond Street, Appleton with Rev. Mary Bauer officiating. Donald's family will receive relatives and friends at the chapel on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service. He will be interred in Highland Memorial Park with full military honors.
