    Adeline Van Densen, 89, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Vallhaven Care Center in Neenah. She was born on February 2, 1920, in Hollandtown, WI, daughter of the late John and Hattie (Peters) Sprangers. Adeline was united in marriage to Joseph Van Densen on November 9, 1940; he preceded her in death on June 23, 2007. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha, and was a part of St. Mary's 3rd Order. Adeline loved to go camping and fishing. She also enjoyed crafting and painting.
    Adeline is survived by her daughter, Pricilla Johnston; grandchildren, Annie Johnston, Sally Johnston; great-grandchildren, Ella Johnston Gerritts, Sidney Johnston Steinway; three brothers, Leo (Joann) Sprangers, Frank (Sally) Sprangers, John (Millie) Sprangers; two sisters, Marion (special friend, Ed Kramer) Oudenhoven, Rita (George) Trader; a sister-in-law, Janice Van Densen; and several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Matthew, Lester, and Anthony Sprangers; and a brother-in-law, Jerome Oudenhoven.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha, with Fr. Paul Radetski officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Interment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Town of Menasha. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established. The family would like to thank the staff of Vallhaven and Heartland Hospice for their special care given to Adeline.

    Francis J. "Frank" Sprangers, age 82, went to be with his heavenly father on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009, at his home in Appleton. He was born on Nov. 22, 1927, in Hollandtown, WI; son of the late John and Hattie (Peters) Sprangers. Frank was united in marriage to Marcella Nieland on Nov. 19, 1949. He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Appleton. Frank loved to go camping and fishing. He also loved gardening and cooking. He retired in 1989 from Oudenhoven Construction Co.
    Frank is survived by his wife, Marcella "Sally" Nieland, seven daughters, Linda (Jim) Kirk, Jane (Bill) Pritzl, LuAnn (Scott) Geiger, Cindy (Dave) Kiser, Debbie (Bob) Goffard, Judy (Mike) Pozolinski and Bonnie (Marty) Fischer. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, brothers, Leo (Joan) Sprangers and John (Millie) Sprangers, two sisters, Marion (special friend, Ed Kramer) Oudenhoven and Rita (George) Trader.
    Frank was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Sprangers, mother-in-law, Thersa Nieland, sister, Adeline Van Densen, brothers, Matthew, Lester and Anthony Sprangers, five brothers-in-law, Jerome Oudenhoven, Joe Van Densen, Melvin Wallace and Merlin Nieland and a sister-in-law, Margie Nieland.
    A Mass of Christian Burial for Frank will be held on Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 East Lourdes Drive, Appleton, with Fr. Don Zuleger officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery, Black Creek. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his name.

    Mark S. Sprangers, age 50, of Menasha, died unexpectedly on Thursday, March 15, 2007, at his residence. Mark was born on December 1, 1956, in Appleton, the son of Leo and Joan (Schaefer) Sprangers. On December 3, 1982, Mark married Susan Much at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Neenah. Mark enjoyed hiking at High Cliff, loved to cook out. He also enjoyed watching football, stand-up comedy, movies, listening to music, playing cards and playing on the computer. Mark was extremely proud of his family.
    He is survived by his loving wife Susan; a son, Justin; his kitty, Jelly Bean; parents, Leo and Joan Sprangers. Mark is further survived by four sisters: Mary (Duane) Dunsirn, Waupaca; Jean (Timothy) Pontow, Barb (Lee) Brockman, Lori (Dean) Knutson, all of Appleton; two brothers: Michael Sprangers, Waupaca; Rob (Melisa) Sprangers, Menasha; six sisters-in-law: Tammy Bieberstein, DeeAnna (John) Lichtenberg, Nicole (Ralph) Schultz, Lisa (Robert) Kober, Renee' (Todd) Golden, Skeeter (Mark) Abrahamson; two brothers-in-law: Brian (Ann) Much, Josh (Jesse Hoffmann) Much; father-in-law, Ron (Jan) Much; mother-in-law, Dorothy Engblom; and many nieces and nephews.

On May 20, 1972 Lee married the former Mary Pankratz at Holy Name Cath olic Church in Kimberly. The couple lived in the Kimberly area their enti re married lives, moving to Little Chute a year ago. Lee was employed at B ergstrom Buick-Pontiac-GMC. He had three loves in his life; his family, h is fishing and his playing of Santa to generations of area families. He w as a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Kimberly. Survivors include h is wife Mary, Little Chute, a daughter Tammy (special friend Keith), Chica go, a son, Kyle (special friend, Sarah), Stevens Point, his mother, Mari on (special friend Ed Klarner), Kimberly, a sister and brother-in-law, Shi rley (Jim) Vander Heiden, Appleton, 3 brothers and sisters-in-law; Duane ( Betsy) Oudenhoven, Chicago, IL, Bruce (Malynda) Oudenhoven, Little Chut e, Dr. Keith (Pam) Oudenhoven, Kimberly.     Vander Heiden, Shirley A. (Oudenhoven)
    Shirley A. Vander Heiden (Oudenhoven), Appleton, age 57, went home to the Lord Friday, July 24, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born in Appleton on August 27, 1952, to Jerome and Marion (Sprangers) Oudenhoven. Shirley married and later separated from Gary Yingling, after having a son Jordan. She then married James "Jim" Vander Heiden on June 25, 1993, who preceded her in death September 11, 2006. Shirley loved the outdoors, spending time at the cottage in Shawano, and particularly enjoyed tending to her flowers.
    Shirley is survived by her son, Jordan (Kelly) Yingling of Appleton; stepchildren: Vickie (Peter) Zipperer, Kaukauna; and Scott (Kristy) Vander Heiden, Darboy; grandchildren: Cailin, Carsen, Claire, Joshua and Abigail; mother, Marion (special friend Edward Klarner) Oudenhoven; mother-in-law, Grace Vander Heiden; brothers: Duane (Betsy), Bruce (Malynda) and Keith (Pam) Oudenhoven; sister-in-law, Mary Oudenhoven; and nieces and nephews: Tammy (Keith) Spilak, Mollie, Elessa, Amy, Carrie, Kyle (Sara) and James Oudenhoven.
    Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, James; father, Jerome; brother, Leon; and dog, Frosty.
    Visitation will be held Thursday, July 30, 2009, at ST. BERNADETTE PARISH (2331 E. Lourdes Dr. Appleton) beginning at 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m. The Rev.     Justin Mark Sprangers, Menasha, age 26, died from injuries resulting from a car accident on November 24, 2009. Justin was born on May 3, 1983, son of Susan K. (Much) Sprangers and the late Mark Steven Sprangers. Justin was a graduate of Menasha High School in 2002. He was a student at Fox Valley Technical College and was employed with Tidi Products of Neenah. Justin loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved to be with family and friends and particularly enjoyed clowning with his cuz Ralphy. Justin loved his Nissan 350Z and was a member of the ZCrew of Wisconsin and Chicago Z. He was a great sports enthusiast and enjoyed comedy, music and playing cards.
    Survivors include his mother, Susan Sprangers, Menasha; his girlfriend, Jessica Mollen, Kaukauna; grandparents: Leo and Joan Sprangers, Appleton; Dorothy Engblom, Menasha; Ron and Jan Much, Little Chute. Justin is further survived by aunts: Mary (Duane) Dunsirn, Jean (Timothy) Pontow, Barb (Lee) Brockman, Lori (Dean) Knutson; uncles: Michael Sprangers, Rob (Melisa) Sprangers; aunts: Tammy Bieberstein, DeeAnna (John) Lichtenberg, Nicole (Ralph) Schultz, Lisa (Robert) Kober, Renee (Todd) Golden, Skeeter (Mark) Abrahamson; uncles: Brian (Ann) Much, and Josh Much. Justin was blessed with many, many cousins who will love and miss him forever.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Steven Sprangers; uncle, Hans Bieberstein; and step-grandfather, David Engblom.
    The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2009, at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 p.m. until the hour of service. A memorial is being established in his name.
    Our deepest gratitude to the extremely kind hearted loving angel, Amber Schroeder, for your assistance at the scene of the accident. God Bless you for so lovingly helping Justin and his best friend, Adam Weston, enter the afterlife so peacefully. Your tremendously loving heart shall never be forgotten.
