    Van Dynhoven, Alan R. K9ALS
    Al Van Dynhoven, 45, was called home to his Lord's side early on Friday morning, Aug. 10, 2007, due to an apparent heart attack. Al was born in Appleton on June 18, 1962, the son of Gerald and Carol (Bosman) Van Dynhoven of Black Creek. He attended Appleton West High School, and for the past 15 years had been employed by Quaker Bakery. On Aug. 24, 1984, he married the former Judy Stine at his parents' home in Appleton. Al enjoyed amateur radio, computers, SKYWARN and weather spotting, and playing the drums. He was a faithful member of Christ the Rock Community Church, where he also shared his musical talents with the members of Celebrate Recovery. Al was a loving husband and father. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him
    Al leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Judy Van Dynhoven, Appleton; two sons, Ryan, age 17 and Zack who is 5; his parents, Jerry and Carol "Williams" Van Dynhoven; Judy's father, Bob Stine, Combined Locks; Judy's mother, Charlene Daus, California; a sister, Wendy Ascher, Appleton; two sisters-in-law, Sandy (Al) Vandehey, Lakewood and Laurie Valentyne, Colorado; two nephews, Brandon Van Dynhoven and Taylor Ascher; a niece, Abbie Ascher; several aunts and uncles, Pat (Brenda) Veeser, Luxemburg; Randy (Jill) Bosman, Luxemburg; Don (Barb) Van Dynhoven, Little Chute; and Betty Schmidt, Menasha.
    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cliff and Verna Bosman, Verone Van Dynhoven, and Gus and Bea Van Dynhoven.
    Funeral services for Al will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 13, 2007, at CHRIST THE ROCK COMMUNITY CHURCH, W6254 Highway 10-114, with Pastor John Kieffer officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the hour of the services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for the benefit of Judy and the boys.
