    Biography:
    JOHN BUSCH, a thrifty and industrious agriculturist of section 28, Buchanan township, has spent his life in farming in this locality, having been born in this township, May 8, 1869, a son of John and Gertrude Busch, natives of Holland. Mr. Busch's parents were married in Outagamie county, and settled in Buchanan township; where they resided until Mr. Busch's death in September, 1886, when fifty-three years of age, since which time his widow has made her home with her son, John, and is now seventy-nine years old. John Busch was the eldest of his parents' five children, of whom two are now living, and he remained at home until his marriage, June 30, 1891, to Miss Catherine Janson. She was born February 9, 1871, the third of the six children born to Matthew and Anna (Harjes) Janson, who came from Holland to America about 1866 and settled in what is now known as Vandenbroek township, Outagamie county, where Mr. Janson died in 1887, aged fifty-two years, and his widow is now living on the homestead at the age of eighty years. Eight children have been born to Mr. and Mrs. Busch, as follows: Gertrude, Matthew, Anna, Henry, Agnes, Helen, John and George. After his marriage, Mr. Busch rented his father's farm until 1897, in which year he acquired the title by purchase. He has fifty acres under cultivation, all fenced with barbed wire, and has twenty-eight acres in timber, and does general farming, and dairying, in addition to harvesting and selling ice. He milks twelve cows of mixed breeds and raises fine Percheron horses. He remodeled his house in 1902, and his barn is now 36x82feet with the remodeling he placed on it in 1908. His farm shows the beneficial effects of good management and a knowledge of the soil and climatic conditions. In political matters Mr. Busch is a Democrat, and he and his family are consistent members of the Catholic Church at Kimberly.

    Busch Funeral Kites To be Held Thursday Kimberly - Funeral services for John Busch, Sr., 68. who died at Appleton after a long illness will be conducted at 9 o'clock Thursday morning at the Holy Name church by the Rev. C. B. Vanden Borne. Burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Mr. Busch was a resident of Kimberly his entire life and was a retired farmer and business man. He was a charter member of the Holy Name society of the Holy Name church.

    Kimberly - Catherine (Katie) DeLeeuw Hoppe VanBeek went home to meet Jesus on Wednesday, February 7th after 99 action packed years. She was born in Kimberly, Wisconsin on December 31, 1918 to Andrew and Gertude (Busch) DeLeeuw.
    Katie lived a very full 99 years of life. Her quick wit, sense of humor and love of story telling made her a well loved part of the community. Her Kimberly blood ran deep and for 97 years of her life, she lived within a 2 mile radius of the house she was born in. Katie was an avid sports fan and loved cheering on her Kimberly Papermakers as well as her beloved Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Brewers. And with much encouragement from her son and son in-law she was even caught cheering for the Chicago Cubs a time or two.
    Katie was the oldest girl amongst her 11 siblings and left school after eighth grade to help raise her brothers and sisters. She went on to work at Kimberly Clark Mill during World War II and later worked at Van Thull's Bakery, Coenen Meat and Eiting's Supermarket.
    Katie self taught herself to crochet after her retirement and went on to make each of her grandchildren an afghan for their wedding and each of her great grandchildren baby blankets. She enjoyed a good sheepshead game and a cold beer amongst a table of friends and family.
    Katie was united in marriage to the love of her life, Orville Hoppe on May 8th, 1946. He preceded her in death on July 1st, 1975. She later married John Van Beek on October 20th, 1983. He also preceded her in death on September 4th, 1995.
    Katie is survived by son, Mike (Pam) Hoppe of Columbia City, IN and daughter Pat Janssen of Little Chute as well as grandchildren, Vicki (Dave) Scheffler, Amy (Eric) Lamers, Laura (Bradley) Best, Jeff (Kate) Janssen, Scott (Cara) Hoppe, Seth (Andrea) Hoppe, Stephanie (Mike) Bradbury and Sheri (JJ) Simms. Her beloved great grandchildren, who referred to her as "Cookie Beek" include: John & Jason Scheffler, Drew, Madison & Bryce Lamers, Makenna and Alexander Best, Penelope & baby Janssen due in April, Brett Hoppe, Caleb & Carsen Hoppe, Gracie, Sophia and Graham Bradbury and Kendyl and Ryan Simms.
    She is survived by step children George (Laurie) Van Beek, Mike (Cindy) Van Beek and Sandi (Jerry) Lamers and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
    She is survived by her siblings, Margaret Willis, Pat Vandehey and Helen Anholzer.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Orville, husband John, brothers Chris (Adelyn), John (Vi), Joe (Stella), Bud (Joan) and Jimmy, her sisters, Mary (Earl) Deeg, Audrey (Bill) Hopfensperger, and in laws Bob Willis, Jim Vandehey and Bob Anholzer and son in law, Cliff Janssen.
    The funeral liturgy for Katie will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 323 Pine St, Little Chute with Fr. Ron Belitz officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Monday, February 12, from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home and on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until the time of the service at the church.     Mary Deeg, age 92, of Kimberly, passed away at Atrium Post Acute Care Facility in Appleton, on Sunday, June 12, 2016. Mary was born on June 28, 1923, in Kimberly, to the late Andrew and Gertrude (Busch) DeLeeuw. On June 10, 1944, she married Earl Deeg; he preceded her in death on September 8, 1998.
    Mary's first love was her family. She always made time to attend the many scheduled family events. Mary was passionate about sports, which included the Packers, Brewers, Orlando Twins and especially Kimberly basketball. A good game of Sheepshead with her card club friends was a must. She loved to travel with her husband Earl "Honey" and made many trips to Florida to visit family, as well as Saginaw, Michigan, to visit Fr. Dan Anholzer, her nephew. Mary was also a member of the Kimberly American Legion Auxiliary, Post #60.
    Survivors include her son, David (Katie) Deeg, Kimberly; her son-in-law, Ken Kempen, Weyauwega; grandchildren, Tammy (Tim) Fink, Trevor (Shannon) Helms, Jennifer (Mike) Biese, Kristine Deeg, Andrea (Travis) Feldkamp, Nicole Schuh, Stacy Hill and David (Becky) Deeg, Jr. She is further survived by 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie Van Beek, Margaret Willis, Helen Anholzer, Pat (Jim) Vandehey and Audrey Hopfensperger; a brother, Andrew "Bud" DeLeeuw; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Kempen; grandson, Eric Helms; brothers John, Joe, Chris and James DeLeeuw, and their spouses.
    The Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 17, 2016, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH - KIMBERLY SITE, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, Wisconsin, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Friends may call at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home, 204 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and again directly at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.     Menasha, Wisconsin - Andrew M. "Bud" De Leeuw Jr., 87 years, passed away January 8, 2018, at his home in Menasha, Wisconsin. He was born February 25, 1930 to his parents Andrew M. Sr. and Gertrude De Leeuw (Bush) in Kimberly, Wisconsin. He was a graduate of Kimberly High School. "Bud" worked at Banta Corporation where he served as a pressman until he retired in 1992. "Bud" was very active in his community. He coached and officiated many sports. His involvement in The Brigade was endless and rewarding. "Bud" also served the people of Menasha as an Alderman. On October 29, 1950 Andrew M. Jr. and Joan De Leeuw (Stilp) were married.
    "Bud" loved his extended family at The Brigade. He created memories and enjoyed his time with the many lives he touched at Camp Onaway Island in Waupaca, Wisconsin and served as a director at Boys Camp 4. "Bud" achieved many honors at The Brigade where he served on the Board of Directors. He obtained the level of Emeritus Director and received the Shattuck Award.

Elayne was born Nov. 24, 1921 in Kim berly, the daughter of the late Matthias and Wilhelmina 'Minnie' (Hanegraa f) Busch. On November 11, 1941 she married Benedict 'Jug' V.Weyenbe rg at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly where she has been a memb er of the Ladies of Holy Name. She served as a befriender, a Communion Min ister, taught religious education and sang with the New Life Choir. Elay ne was a member of the Kimberly American Legion Auxiliary Post 60 and al so spent some of her free time as a volunteer with the Outagamie County De pt. Of Social Services. Elayne was very intrumental in establishing Kount ry Kickers Line Dancing at the Thompson Senior Center, in Appleton. She al so participated in numerous musicals and plays and tap dance with the Rhyt hmettes. She enjoyed traveling, spending most of her winters in Mesa Villa ge, Arizona and she especially enjoyed visiting with her granchildren, goi ng fishing, golfing, ceramics and organizing family events. Elayne h ad so much spark and life; she loved life and lived it to the fullest.     Jeri M. Van Deurzen, Combined Locks, 82, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2008, surrounded by her family. Jeri was born on Feb. 1, 1926, in Kimberly, daughter of the late Mathias and Minnie (Hanegraaf) Busch. Jeri married Paul "Dunk" Van Deurzen on June 25, 1952, in Kimberly at Holy Name Catholic Church. They were married for 41 years before Dunk preceded her in death on July 5, 1993.

    Edward W. Flynn, 83, of Menasha, died on Wednesday April 18, 2012 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. He was born on March 24, 1929 in Appleton the son of William and Anna Flynn. Edward married Jean E. Bayorgeon on June 7, 1958 in Kaukauna.
    Mr. Flynn was a Social Studies teacher at Kaukauna High School. After his retirement he enjoyed reading history and cook books, cooking, planting flowers and vegetables, and listening to opera and classical music. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menasha and was a Korean War Army veteran.
    Survivors include his wife, Jean of Menasha; daughter, Colleen Soward of Oshkosh; son, Kevin (Fiancee - Aimee Salko) Flynn of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; brother, William (Shirley) Flynn of Little Chute; and grandson, Tim Soward of Oshkosh. Edward was preceded in death by one brother, Tim Flynn; sister, Rosemary Larson; and son-in-law, Tom Soward.
    A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church (528 2nd St., Menasha) with Fr. Paul Paider officiating with military honors to follow. Family and friends may visit at the church on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery-Menasha. A memorial to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society (1925 Shelter Court - Oshkosh, WI 54901) is being established.

    William J. "Bill" Flynn, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 surrounded by his family. Bill was born on September 10, 1931 to William and Anne (Busch) in Kaukauna. Bill was a veteran having served in the US Naval Air Force during the Korean War. On September 7, 1957 he was united in marriage to Shirley Arts. Bill was a science teacher at Quinney middle School and Kaukauna High School. He also coached CYO and grade school basketball. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved his family and he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bill was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
    Bill is survived by his wife Shirley, three children; Thomas Flynn, Carrie (David) Fleming, and Tim Flynn, grandchildren; Jessica (Chris) Staum, Tarah (Chris) Jansen, Hannah Flynn, Grace Gretz, Eva Gretz, Mia Flynn and Kyra Flynn, great grandchildren; Colton Jansen, Maddox Jansen, Weston Jansen, Lizzie Staum and Stella Staum, sisters-in-law; Marty Nitkowski, Rosie Arts, and Jean Flynn, daughters-in-law; Lynn (Kenlyn) Gretz, and Therese Raedts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Bill was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jeff Flynn, brothers; Ed and Tim Flynn and a sister Rosemary (Darrell) Larson.
    The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer St., with Fr Tom Pomeroy officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.

    The family would like to thank Marilyn Coonen and Bonnie Golden and all of the other friends that have helped during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.

    Janet H. Behling, of Suring, formerly of Combined Locks, age 74, died Monday March 9, 2009, in Oconto Falls. She was born in Kimberly on September 1, 1934, to the late John and Harriet (Van Handel) Busch. Janet married Ray Behling at Holy Name Parish in Kimberly on December 27, 1952. She worked as a benefits manager at U.S. Oil. Janet was an auxiliary volunteer at Oconto Falls Hospital. She enjoyed playing cards, working crossword puzzles and visiting with family and friends. She and Ray wintered in Florida for the last 18 years.
    Janet is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ray; two sons, Jon and Jody, both of Kimberly; five grandchildren: Rachel, Rory, Erin, Kelly and Michael; three sisters: Shirley Seeger, Florida; Claire Jansen, Little Chute; and Lois "Butch" (Orion "Poogie") Reynebeau, White Potato Lake; and sister-in-law, Alice Janssen. She is further survived by aunts, nieces and nephews.
    In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law: Rev. Richard Seeger, Dave Jansen and Elmer Janssen.

    Carol Gee, Appleton, died peacefully on Feb. 28, 2007, surrounded by her family. Born April 11, 1936, in Appleton, Wis., she lived briefly in Milwaukee, but most of her life in Appleton. She married her husband Ralph on Sept. 12, 1959. She devoted her life to Ralph, and to raising her children. Her legacy is the wealth of compassion and love that spreads forth through her children and grandchildren. Carol was a model, for all who knew her, of honesty, humility, and kindness. She taught us the worth of being genuine. An avid reader, Carol passed on her love of books to her children. She golfed badly, but enjoyed it well. She bowled with the worst of us, but showed us the point was to have fun. (Except with cribbage - that was win or lose!) She was "cool" to all her children's friends, without trying - she was just plain good, and it was comforting and magnetic. She had the kind of heart people aspire to have. Carol was greeted in Heaven by her daughter, Nancy; her parents, Marie and George; her brother, Carl; her sister, Joan; many other friends and relatives. Surviving are her loving husband, Ralph Gee; daughter, Kathleen Gee (Steve Bennett); son, David Gee (Lori, and grandsons, Alexander and Zachary); and her son-in-law, Stephen Nordgaard. Further survived by Edward (Mary) and William (Nira) Busch. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday March 5, 2007, at St Thomas More Catholic Church, Appleton. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home and also on Monday at the church from 9:30 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to a fund in Carol's name for the Appleton Public Library.

    Robert Behling, 84, of Appleton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday May 17, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Robert was born on May 12, 1928, son of the late Fred and Rosella Behling. After graduating from Kimberly High School in 1946, Bob went on to earn his B.S. in Physics from Lawrence University in 1950. Shortly after college he served in the United States Army. Bob had an outstanding work ethic, working summers during college at the Kimberly-Clark Mill. He then took a job in finance at the Oscar J. Boldt Corporation where he worked for over 30 years.
    Bob had many interests and talents. He enjoyed music as well as taking photos and developing his own film. He enjoyed wood working, taking pride in building his own cottage on Lake Winnebago. One of Bob's favorite activities was gardening and lawn work. He found great joy in giving flowers to people.
    Robert is survived by his special friend, Patricia Rauch of Appleton, cousins; Patricia Stuyvenberg of Kimberly, Richard (Carol) Stuyvenberg of Appleton, Jack (Peggy) Stuyvenberg of Appleton and Richard (Patti) Fird of Greendale. Bob will be lovingly remembered by other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Rosella Behling and his aunt Ann Behling.
    A memorial service will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2012 at 6:00 PM at the WICKMANN FUNERAL HOME (537 N Superior St, Appleton WI) with Father David Belongea O.F.M. Cap. officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until the time of service. A memorial fund will be established in Bob's name. Condolences may be expressed at www.wichmanfargo.com.

    Diane Kempen, age 67 of rural Weyauwega, passed away at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah on Sunday morning, August 17, 2015, following a lingering illness. Diane was born in Kaukauna on March 25, 1948, daughter of the late Earl "Honey" Deeg and Mary Deeg of Kimberly. After high school, Diane attended FVTC, but before she could graduate, Duralam hired her on as a plate maker. She worked as a waitress, then at Duralam, and later at Presto Products, but her favorite role of all was that of being a mother to her five children. Her lifelong dream was to live on the water somewhere - anywhere. She met Ken Kempen while working at Duralam, and the couple married in 1997. Two days later they bought a lake home at White Lake near Weyauwega, and she had been happy ever since. She fished every chance she got, loved her dogs, loved the outdoors, and enjoyed playing Liverpool Rummy.
    Diane is survived by her husband: Ken Kempen of Weyauwega; her mother: Mary Deeg of Kimberly; her father-in-law: Leo (Arlene) Kempen of Kaukauna; four loving children: Tammy (Tim) Fink of Appleton; Trevor (Shannon) Helms of Freedom; Andrea (Travis) Feldkamp of Kimberly; and Stacy Hill of Kimberly. She is also survived by Ken's children: Amanda Kempen of Appleton; Heather (Matt) Barone of Waynesville, Missouri; and Jeremy Kempen of Green Bay and his special friend Pam. There are also nineteen grandchildren and one great-grandson; a brother: David (Katie) Deeg of Kimberly; and several brothers and sisters-in-law: Diane Shaw, Mary Huebner, Jeff Kempen, Paul Kempen, Leo (Kristi) Kempen, Tim (Denise) Kempen, Tom (Sherry) Kempen, Amy (Al) Prudom, Ted (Diane) Kempen, and Katie (Michael) Meulemans.     Fr. Daniel Anholzer, 58, Saginaw, Mich., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 13, 2010. He was born in Appleton, Wis., on July 18, 1951, the son of Helen (DeLeeuw) Anholzer and the late Robert E. Anholzer.
    Capuchin Friar Daniel Anholzer, Pastor of St. Joseph Parish, Saginaw, was in the order for 40 years. He served as Provincial Minister of the Capuchin Order of St. Joseph, 2002-2008. Under Father Dan's leadership as Provincial Minister, lay employee formation programs were created to further employee's understanding of the Capuchin charism. He also led the province in the 18 month celebration of the 150th anniversary of the first permanent Capuchin foundation in North America and the establishment of the Province of St. Joseph. He served as president of the North American Pacific Capuchin conference (NAPCC) which represents the provinces of the U.S., Australia, Canada and Guam.
    Father Dan attended St. Lawrence Seminary, a Capuchin high school from 1965 to 1969. He entered the order upon his graduation from high school. In 1975, Father Dan took a year off from studies to live and work in Nicaragua, later returning for this diaconate ordination at Bocana de Palguas. After ordination, he continued serving in Nicaragua, ministering several years, some during the Nicaraguan civil war. He returned to the U.S. in 1983 and spent a year in Milwaukee, serving the House of Peace. He then arrived in Saginaw at St. Joseph "Rainbow Parish" in 1984, where he ministered until his appointment as Provincial Minister in 2002.
    When Father Dan celebrated his Silver Jubilee in 1995, he stated, "I am so thankful for my Capuchin vocation. I have become who I am thanks to my Capuchin brothers and mentors. I never would have had all the ethnic and cultural experiences I have had throughout these years life experiences which have made me more human, whole, and complete."
    He is lovingly survived by his mother, Helen Anholzer, Kimberly, Wis.; his brothers and sister, Thomas Anholzer and his special friend, Linda Vaughn, Hortonville, Wis.; Gary (Mary) Anholzer, Quinney, Wis.; and Karen (Fred) Stumpf, Darboy, Wis.; his Nicaraguan sister, Frida (Lee) Adrian; also his nieces and nephews, Kevin and Danielle Santry and their son, Mason; Cole Anholzer and his fiancee, Savannah Bradley; Olivia, Helena and Eric Stumpf; Jason, Marissa and Vanessa Adrian and her fiance, Brandon Bennett; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is further survived by his Capuchin Brothers and his wonderful family of St. Joseph's Parish in Saginaw.

    Sandra "Sandy" J. Stier (nee Weyenberg), 66, Madison, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, with her loving and devoted husband, Jeff, by her side. Sandy was born Feb. 2, 1945, at Army Station Hospital in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of Benedict and Elayne (Busch) Weyenberg. Following her father's discharge from the U.S. Army after World War II, the family moved back to their hometown of Kimberly, Wis. Sandy graduated as Valedictorian of her class from Kimberly High School in 1963, and received her B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1968. While at UW, Sandy met Jeff and they were married on Jan. 23, 1967. Sandy worked throughout the first half of her professional career as a Pharmacist in Ann Arbor, Mich., Zambia, Africa and Madison, Wis. In 1988, Sandy joined It's A Relief Temporary Pharmacists Service, Inc., eventually purchased the company, and served as its President until her passing. Throughout her life, Sandy's family and their time together were paramount. She and Jeff enjoyed traveling throughout the world extensively together, whether as a couple or with their children and grandchildren. Sandy's unconditional love for her family, contagious sense of humor and passion for cards and other games will be fondly remembered. Sandy was a member of Queen of Peace Parish since 1978. Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Jeff; their sons, Sean (Tracy Bloom) and Eric (Suzette Viernes), cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Gabriel and Braeden, all of California; her beloved siblings, Tim (Maryanne) Weyenberg, Greenleaf, Wis.; Mary (Ken) Fries, Winneconne, Wis.; Jan Engebretson, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Jean Weyenberg, Kimberly, Wis.; and many nieces and nephews. Following his graduation from Kimberly High School, Jody worked at the Kimberly Mill. He retired from Interlake Papers in 1999 after 20 years of service. Jody loved to golf, fish, play the guitar and watch the Packers. He was talented artist, specifically enjoying drawing and painting. Jody loved to be outdoors appreciating nature, whether it was long drives with his kids or just sitting quietly by the water. He was an active member of his church.
    Jody is survived by his children: Rachel of Kaukauna; Rory of Appleton; and Erin of Appleton; their mother, Kathy (Ron) Butler; grandchildren: Dylan, Trevor and Aliyah; father, Ray of Suring; brother, Jon; and niece and nephew: Kelly and Michael Behling. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
    Jody was preceded in death by his mother, Janet; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

    Eric W. Helms, age 35, of Kimberly, passed away suddenly of a heart attack on Friday, March 19, 2010. He was born on April 13, 1974; son of Mark E. Helms and Diane (Kenneth) Kempen (Deeg). Eric graduated from Kimberly High School in 1992, and was a short order cook for Cinder's restaurant for several years.
    Eric was a free spirit who enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, playing video games and cards with his friends and family. He was a devoted father who cherished spending time with his children. He was a kind-hearted person who people took an instant liking to. Anyone who knew Eric loved him for his kind and gentle nature. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
    Eric is survived by his parents, Mark Helms of Greeley, Colorado, and Diane (Kenneth) Kempen of Weyauwega; children: Emilee Wingen, Kaylee and Lylee Helms; sisters: Tammy (Gerald) Fink, Andrea (Travis) Feldkamp, Stacy (Adam) Geurts, Marisa (Chad) Atwood; brother Trevor (Shannon) Helms; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Eric is further survived by children who were close to his heart: Ashley, Skyelar and James.
    Eric is preceded in death by his grandfather Earl Deeg, and grandparents Edgar and Lucille Helms (Gerndt).
    A special thank you to Eric's closest friends who were an important part of his life through the years. Eric, nothing could prepare us for the pain we feel from losing you. We take comfort in knowing that God is waiting with open arms to bring you home to Him.
    The Funeral Liturgy for Eric will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home and again at church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Eric's name.
