    Nabbefeld, Ted, Waupaca, WIAge 78, passed away Friday, February 6, 2004 at Bethany Home in Waupac a. He was born on January 31, 1926 in Appleton, WI. a son of the late Jose ph and Catherine (Laus) Nabbefeld. He was married to Jeanne Spielbauer. S he preceded him in death in 1965. He married Lori Kolden on April 16, 19 77 in Waupaca, WI.Ted is survived by his wife, Lori; three daughters: Teddy and Dean Bann, N eenah; Becky and Randy Vande Voort, Appleton; Emmy Nabbefeld, Black Cree k; three sons: Jack Nabbefeld and special friend, Dee, Hortonville; Joe a nd Rita Nabbefeld, Appleton; Jim and Laurie Nabbefeld, Appleton; a step-so n, Darrell Anderson, Port Orchard, WA; 12 grandchildren, eight great-grand children, a sister, Karen and Bob Burr, Neenah; a brother, Tom and Linde ll Nabbefeld, Appleton; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in dea th by his first wife, Jeanne; his parents and two sisters: Marianne Fisch er and Germaine Masten.Ted had been employed as a truck driver for Faulks Bros. Construction C o. in Waupaca for about 20 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of t he Trinity Lutheran Church of Waupaca. He had served in the U.S. Navy aboa rd the U.S.S. Idaho during WWII. He loved woodworking and being in his wor kshop. He loved his cats: Mitties and Rusty, and he enjoyed watching the b irds and squirrels in their yard at home.A Funeral Service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Waupa ca on Monday, February 9, 2004 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Dr. Charles Te ws, officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Cemetery in Wa upaca. Friends may call at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca on Sunday aft ernoon from 3-7 p.m. and at the church on Monday one hour prior to the ti me of the funeral service. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisti ng the family with arrangements.
